And she was like, oh, I'm buying that doggy raincoat right now. And I was like, oh, boy.

Yeah, and you know what's funny is we haven't talked about it since, quite honestly. So then you're all good. No, but I will say what we have talked about. So house ownership is often terrible. Now, first world problems. I'm happy to be a homeowner. I thank the Lord often that I have a paid-for house. It's amazing. I'm very proud of that. But holy cow, every time you turn around, there's something. So... For the 12th time, our basement had some water. Now it's not, I exaggerate. It might've been the third time and our basement is very, very waterproof. But what happens is every once in a while, for whatever reason, the drain spout outside might get knocked away. Like the extension thing from the gutter. And so the water goes straight down.
Well, sure. off. We're out of town. This happened some way or some form or whatever. And water's going in. And the person who was watching our dog says, you got water in your basement. Well, it's a carpeted basement.

Pull back the carpet. You're doing the whole nine yards. By the time we come home, this carpet stinks. I mean, and we, this has happened two or three times. So I'm like, we got to cut the carpet. Okay. So we're cutting the carpet, get the carpet out, haul it out, making sure everything's dry. This is a multi-step process to fix this. The first step that we have to do is we have this gargantuous tree next to that corner of the house. That tree, got to go. Adios. The other day, we got this big crew, and they're like, you want to tear this thing down? It's this beautiful tree. I'm like, get rid of that thing. No water in the basement. So it's gone, right? That's step number one. Step number two, when the tree is gone because all the leaves go into the gutter and probably bark or whatever dropped and that's what knocked the stupid thing out.
Well, now we got to get the gutter clean. So the gutter is going to get clean. Now, I know what you're thinking. Why doesn't Quint climb up there and clean the gutter? Number one, that's dumb. Number two, it's like three stories high and I'm not doing that at all, period. Okay. So gutter cleaning. Okay. Now, number three, when the gutter cleaning is done, which is supposed to be done today, they had to reschedule, whatever. Okay. We're going to put some fill in to make sure this whole thing, right? Can you wrap it up? I'm getting to my point, I promise you, and that is as follows. My wife called a landscape company and said, we'd like to do some new plantings because we got rid of these trees. I got the estimate today, and I'm not joking when I say I thought she was kidding.
Oh, no. Should I even say on the air? It's going to be terrible. Go ahead. Well, let's just say that it's a five-figure estimate. What? A what? Yeah. What? I'm like, are we putting in a new pool? It's a five-figure estimate. For some plantings? For planting. So needless to say, after a minor heart attack. Can you just buy some mulch?
