How do Quint and Logan introduce the episode and listener call‑outs?

Allie (host) 0:00
Hey, this is Daniel. Thanks for listening to DIY Money. If you haven't already, be sure to give us a five-star review on iTunes so your friends know that they can learn from the show. Now, enjoy the show.
Quint (host) 0:15
Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen. You're listening to another edition of DIY Money. DIY Money. Oh, wow. On video. That was aggressive. Yeah, you got to do what you got to do. Where'd that come from? Well, hey, are you going to be the hand guy? Of course.
Unknown 0:27
We need a hand guy.
Quint (host) 0:28
There's always one. I'll basically be doing a puppet show over here while we're going. Are you secretly Italian and I didn't know this?
Unknown 0:34
No, actually not at all.
Quint (host) 0:38
Zero Italian. If you are listening to the podcast via Spotify, iTunes, or the Believe Network, by the way, that's where we now host our podcast. Shout out to Believe. Believe Network. Because it's not B-E-L. It's B-L. It's very interesting. I bet you B-E wasn't available. And they were like, let's just X the E. Why do you need the E? Why do you need the E? So we're also doing video. So you now can check us out on YouTube. And I would imagine there will be some shorts that will be cut up. Social media is on fire. We're trying it again.
Logan (host) 1:12
I mean, this is third time's a charm. So if you're listening right now, DIY Money Podcast on all your social medias. You can go and listen to their podcast. Same thing for YouTube, DIY Money Podcast. That's right.
Quint (host) 1:22
Ethan is the video guru. He's a rock star. He might be a rock star. So this is third time's a charm. And I told Ethan, and he knows this. Like, this is it. So no pressure. We'll see what happens.
Logan (host) 1:36
This is our third time trying videos.
Quint (host) 1:38
So Ethan's a good guy. If you want Ethan to stay employed with DIY Money... go hit that like button and that subscribe button on YouTube and tell all your friends. And then share. And share, yeah. Absolutely. All right, let's skip all the nonsense because whatever, I see you every day and people heard about you just recently and let's go to our question. Sounds good. What, I thought we were in the trust tree in the nest, are we not? All right, we got a question from John today. John, what do you got? DIY!

Why are the hosts talking about launching video and social channels now?

Unknown 2:06
Hey, DIY Money Team. My name is John and I am currently living in Omaha, Nebraska. I've been a longtime listener and I've listened to every episode that you guys have put out so far. I want to thank you for providing this education and keeping it real fun. My wife and I are both physical therapists, so Quint, we have an extra appreciation for you being married to one as well. My question for you guys is this, how often should I be rebalancing my mid to long-term investment accounts? For some background, my wife and I have been saving a dollar a day for our one-year-old daughter's college fund, as well as adding any monetary gifts from friends and family to the fund. We plan to increase our contributions when we're done paying for daycare.
Unknown 2:45
Yikes. We are still looking at a 17-year time horizon and currently have the money going into a portfolio that is 100% stocks within a 529 account. I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts. Thanks.
Quint (host) 2:57
Okay, John, a lot to discuss here, but let's start with Omaha, first of all. Omaha, a fantastic city, like a best-kept secret kind of thing. A lot of action.
Logan (host) 3:09
Outside of the World Series, you don't hear about it at all.
Quint (host) 3:12
Yeah, that's the college World Series. But, well, yeah, you do, because it's where... Warren Buffett lives in the same house that he first bought a gazillion years ago. I'm sure it's updated.
Logan (host) 3:24
I'm positive of that. The inside's great. I'm sure of it.
Quint (host) 3:27
So, John, I'd be curious if you've ever seen Warren Buffett in the McDonald's drive-thru or anything like that. Number two, I am married to a PT. She has not practiced for 17 years now. And when I need PT, John... I don't go to her because her bedside manner with me is awful.
Unknown 3:48
You just better start showing me a little more appreciation around here, Mr. Man.
Quint (host) 3:53
And so, I mean, she's like, suck it up. Like, of course you hurt. You're not stretching. Like, what's your problem? I'm like, oh my gosh.
Logan (host) 4:00
Yeah, no, that's how my wife is as a PA.
