Phil’s best friend, Mac Owen, joins Uncle Si to relive the wildest shot Phil ever pulled off—and the legacy he left behind. When Justin Martin asks one simple question, the room goes quiet as Mac shares the most powerful thing Phil ever taught him. Even John-David gets so fired up he starts preaching. The boys offer a joyful, heartfelt tribute to a man who may be the only one to ever preach his own funeral. Chapter 1: What is the significance of Phil Robertson's legacy?
Bye.
Ready?
I guess.
I guess. Hunter, start that clock and let's just see what happens. Yeah.
Welcome back to the Duck Call Room, ladies and gentlemen.
We've been going through it.
Yeah, man. It's life.
Life's been a toughie.
We've got a special guest with us.

Chapter 2: How did Phil teach his friends about life?
What'd you call me?
No, no. Oh, okay. I said it's an oxymoron, and I may have mispronounced it all. Oh, you got that right. But I was sitting there when y'all started talking, and I'm saying, okay. I said, this is so weird. I said, because this man is a master carpenter. Yeah. Okay. My brother couldn't square nothing if, you know, never. Okay. And then it's all about the real carpenter.
Amen.
The one that created all this and then lived a short 33 years on this earth. And he became flesh so we could get our hands on him and murder him. Okay. He died for what I did wrong. Okay. And I was guilty as all get out. And everybody else in this room, same deal. He died for them also and the rest of the world. So that's why we're here. Okay.
I just lost my brother, Phil Robertson, the man known as the Duck Commander. Okay. Okay. But I can't quote you to tell you where it's at, but I can tell you what it was about. I bet this guy can. Paul said, okay, in a lot of his writings in the Bible, I don't want you to be ignorant like the rest of the world.
I don't want you to grieve like they do because you're not in the same arena as they are. OK, and that's the thing that my faith in that statement and all the rest of the Bible is what keeps me going.
You know, so when you said that to people come up to say, hey, I lost you. You lost your brother or you lost your friend. And I'm like, oh, we didn't lose him. We know where they're at.
Well, no, no. See, that's the thing that they don't understand because I'm a mama's boy, okay, and I'm proud of it. Amen. I loved her to death, okay. I left you hanging. Boom. People said, what are you going to do when she dies? And I said, well, if you'd asked me that years ago, I wouldn't have been able to tell you. I said, but it's very easy. I said, death is nothing but a change of address.
I said, number one, I know where my mother went. I know who's waiting there for her. She's surrounded by those she loves and that those have gone on before. And I said, boy, you're talking about a party. I said, you know, they said when one comes back to Jesus, there's a party going on in heaven. Well, I always look at it when it's storming.

Chapter 3: What memorable stories did Phil share?
What you just said is what it says in 1 Corinthians, that he now speaks through us as we were his ambassadors.
No, no, because see, that's what, yeah. Did you hear what he just said? This is the creator, and he treats us as an ambassador of his.
You know what ambassadors do? They speak on behalf of the one who sent them.
Yeah.
So we're now speaking on behalf of, as Phil would say, the creator of the cosmos, and he trusts us. Can you believe that? He trusts us?
See, that's what I'm saying, okay?
Me and you can start preaching to each other right now. Hey, I'm going to have to have y'all back more often because I ain't got a whole lot to say. Martin, I'm going to go to the bathroom.
I'm just going to watch this.
Yeah, this is good. Yo.
