What is the purpose of the Leading Estate Agents of the World network?

Mark Burgess 0:00
On this episode of Estate Agency X, I'm interviewing Rob about a new network that he is headed up called the Leading Estate Agents of the World. I ask him what the point of the network is, what's in it for agents, and how it will help agents to elevate themselves when it comes to speaking to the public.

Right, on this episode I wanna talk to I wanna talk to you about the leading the statements of the World Network um that you're leading. Um think of a better word than leading 'cause that clashes with the title. So, Ike, you know that you're heading up. Um we recently kind of uh we recently had the launch event. Yeah. Uh hired out one of London's uh sky high landmarks, had a load of agents there talking to them about how it's gonna work. We've got founder agents, the let the network's gonna launch, but there's lots of estate agency networks. Uh so I guess like I wanted to just have a interview with you where we could get to the root of what the point is, uh, what's in it for agents, what's in it for the public, how does it work, and all of that sort of thing.
Mark Burgess 1:21
So I guess my first question to you um is give me an overview of what is the point of this network.
Rob Brady 1:29
I think the first part to it is uh credibility. Um, the fact that we've produced a name, the lead in a sense of the world network. um gives a better understanding maybe to the public of what the actual why the network exists for then you to use it as a credible proposition tool within being a differentiator when it comes to a pitch. So you can actually talk something a little bit differently in the pitch around it. But then the public actually understand it. Um so that comes in various formats as you would do normally. So so when you say the public understand it, what would you mean? I think the I think we get A lot of jargon. So You know, um there's networks out there. You could be a part of, but You must have to then explain
Rob Brady 2:15
all the other bits about the network and why it exists. Whereas the lead in the sense of the world, you say, I'm a I'm a member of the lead in the sense of the world, it's a bit easier for the public to go, I n I understand that wording. Understand. Um so it's it it makes it a little bit more simpler to then go on to then explain afterwards about what does that look like. And so I think the the the first part is we want to s always want to lead with the credibility side, but then also backing it up uh with Um, having a website that's actually built for network members, not to generate network members. So it's not confusing again to the public. Um And then the second part is built on the human connectivity part of being a part of a network.
Rob Brady 2:57
So how many clients have we spoken to over the years? have either been a part of networks or gone to events and I've always sort of felt a little bit Lost in her own world effectively on their own, or they don't really underst don't really feel like they exist as part of that network. Or they join the network And then realise after a year it's the same people in there. Um so the second part is the connectivity of particular types of agents so she should be joining the network. Um and then being able to meet up bimonthly, online or quarterly are part of our events and stuff. uh to be in the room, as we've ex seen within our accelerate programme, the magic that happens just on an hour long call maybe with another group of agents, one set of gold.
Rob Brady 3:40
It's like, wow, didn't think about doing that and they were implementing that into their business. Um So I'd say those are the two things, like credibility, but it's human connection is the two two two parts, sense of belonging. So
Mark Burgess 3:52
I'm an Estate agent. And uh I've been going, you know. Let's let's just say I've been gone for a while, right? Doesn't matter how long you've been going. I haven't what makes me somebody that could or couldn't become part of uh or uh uh or could apply to become part of the leading stage of the world.
