Can't believe it's not a good...
John O'Keefe? No. And where does he live? Right at the present.
Okay, and the wife home, you said his girlfriend?
It's his girlfriend, yeah. They were out having drinks, and then she left and expected him to come home at some point, and he never did.
911, what's the emergency?
I need someone to come immediately to 34 Fairview Road, Canton, Mass. What's going on? There's a guy, unresponsive, in the snow. In the snow at 34? He passed out, yes, 34, the Albert resident, yes. I just pulled up and found him. Did he do it all? Yeah, you've got to get here, okay?

Chapter 2: What shocking testimony did Trooper Proctor provide?
No.
That's not possible?
The ones that are on from the taillight and the other parts of it?
Scratches anywhere on the car.
Depends on what you got to pick the other scratches. Yeah, show me other scratches on the car.
I'm saying it's possible since you can't date the scratch. It's possible that any or all of those scratches could predate January 29th. It's possible, right? It's possible.
You're being pretty broad on your scratches here.
I'm not being broad. Let me ask it a different way. Let me ask it again. Is it possible that any or all of the scratches noted on that car became January 21?
Any and all of the scratches? See, that's what I'm saying. You're being pretty broad. Any and all scratches on the car.

Chapter 3: What evidence was discussed regarding John O'Keefe's death?
Jackson grew more and more unconvinced of Trooper Paul's expertise. And it seemed he wasn't the only one with doubts.
On cross-examination, when he is forced to really testify step-by-step to what he believed happened that day, the look on the jurors' faces, that was the moment I saw a juror shake her head and mouth, what, out loud.
Given the vague testimony of how Trooper Paul concluded the scratches were made the night of the 29th, Jackson was curious how he determined how John O'Keefe's body wound up where it did.
Can you describe for the jurors exactly what calculations you would need to employ to determine how far a body at rest would travel, having been struck by an object in motion?
So in this collision, it's more of a side swipe. So he did not get enough speed of the vehicle post-impact with the vehicle to build calculations. His center of mass was offset from the vehicle. So it would vastly underestimate his speed. So that's why I did not do a formula. If he was more in line with behind the vehicle, he would have been projected forward.
And using that projection forward, he would have had to get more closer to the actual speed of the vehicle during that post-impact travels.
Well...
Presumed.
Presumed by you? You didn't see how he was hit, did you?
