It's probably made it a lot easier given that most clubs are really just keeping their heads down at the moment, just trying to coast into the finals or coast into missing the finals and hope not too many people notice and talk about it. So the Tigers, I think they've all got the Tigers to thank for taking up all the headlines.

My understanding is it wasn't an apology. He had the meeting yesterday, which was fantastic. Look, there hasn't been much said about what happened in the meeting, but my understanding of the meeting was very little actually was said in the meeting. And it was basically Benji said to him, you have to frighten your teammates tomorrow and you have to explain to them. And Dewey said, mate, not a problem. And that's essentially all they got to. It's interesting because obviously Dewey copped it from all corners when he made that decision to not play on the weekend. You presented a side yesterday. There was other sides. But it's strange to think that all this hasn't gone into his consideration for how long he wants to stay at the club. And maybe they didn't talk about that yesterday, but it has to be something they're all considering. Yeah, I agree with you. I don't think it was spoken about yesterday.
And I don't think either side was particularly keen to bring it up and talk about that and really bring things to a head. I think it was more about, look, let's just see if we can sit down together and still get on, which... they were able to do. Like Benji doesn't want any more flare-ups between here and the end of the season. And I think Dewey just wanted to get through this current in Broglio and basically just say it is what it is. And I think at the end of the season, I dare say... I don't know this, but I dare say Dewey probably had a talk with his manager and they've come up with a plan because I don't think Isaac May is the kind of guy that would sit there on his hands and not have some sort of plan already formulating in his head.
So it was essentially a meeting where nothing happened, where it was basically, are we sweet? Yeah, we're sweet. And it was that kind of tone is what I'm led to believe it was. Not a, let's thrash it out and sort out our problems. Look, let's remember, and I think this has been overlooked by a lot of people, but Benji called Dewey selfish last week because he insisted on wanting to play halfback. Do you think he is selfish? Do you think that's a selfish decision in a team sport, though? Well, in a manner of speaking, yeah. There's two ways to look at it. See, I don't think there's absolutes in this argument. And everybody, when they sit down and have their thoughts or tell people, others their thoughts on this, they all speak in absolutes.
You know, it was selfish and I don't want to hear anything else. Or he had a right to do it. I don't want to hear anything else. It was selfish from a kind of, yeah, he wanted to play halfback.
