That's a great first question. And first, may I say, Ademola, or as you prefer to be called, AI, very topical. My background is agriculture, farming here in Suffolk, where I am at the moment in this old barn in the village that I was born over six decades ago. And my background is agriculture. I knew at a very young age I wanted, however, to be an accountant. And I qualified as a chartered accountant at a young age, 21. And then had the
opportunity to work.
to work overseas. And I knew at a young age what I wanted to do. And I think I was very largely shaped by my parents working. We were humble farmers. We still own the land here in Suffolk. And that background of grounded, hard work, delivery every day the fact that it might be cold or wet or your birthday or christmas day you've still got to look after your stock your pigs your chickens whatever and i also learned as we're primarily arable farmers that if you want a harvest you need to plant the seed fertilize it spray it take care of it and a little bit of luck and good fortune with weather you will yield a harvest and i think throughout my career across some very large companies and seven as you've said different countries living and working those
Attributes and values of hard work, commitment, focus, tenacity and passion to deliver has driven me and still drives me immensely today.
So it's quite impressive that you qualified at such a young age, 21. I qualified as a chartered accountant at 24. So you definitely beat me to it. But you moved from being a finance executive into executive transition coaching. So what was that defining moment that made you realize that this is the next chapter for you and which is about helping others, right?
