We've just wrapped up our weekend at the bend and uh Will's just cracked a cold one because he's can continued through the Lucky Dogs Challenge, which we'll talk about a bit later. But uh Yeah, Chihuahua moves on. Yeah, the Chihuahua moves on. So a freshly shaved head rolled in, was blinding everyone for the anthem. Um yeah, I had to put sunnies on when I looked at ya.
Yeah, uh shined that thing up. So uh it was pretty funny in the uh what was that, the driver's photo, everyone was pan me out about it. So it's become like this big thing, hasn't it? My shaved head. Uh everyone loves commenting on it on a race weekend and everything. But uh no, what a crazy weekend. Uh obviously the bend, I didn't know what to expect, but I think everyone at home and all of uh actually I don't know if we're glad, but the rain shaked things up and absolutely produced a crazy day of racing that was uh I think you know I've watched a race back and I think it was probably it was an awesome race to watch. Um being at the track I don't know if I would have loved it as a fan with all the rain and everything, but uh overall a a pretty cool weekend to uh recap.

did. I asked uh some Motorsport Australia officials that were on the same flight as me.

And they said that he was holding an umbrella and he was across the pit lane and the light the lightning strike hit the umbrella and got his hand. Really? Yeah. Is he injured? Uh no, he apparently said he's okay. He's got like slight burns or something on his hand. Imagine saying I've been hit by lightning. Well to me when I read it, I was like, This is obviously you know, it said he had like blisters on his hand or something and you know I re I
read it and I'm like, we're gonna be like NASCAR now. We can't race with if it's within ten kilometers and we
already have that that system in place, but because it was forming so close to the track, like it was literally like it would come come to the track, form, and then just lightning and storms and it was all It was weird, like there it wasn't building at all. And I and there was nothing on the radar, then it would just build.
Must have been building over Haandor or somewhere like that in the hills, like there as as it came over the hills, 'cause yeah, it was nothing and then all of a sudden there was just
the complete wrong way.
I don't know about maybe it is. No, I'm joking. I was like, I don't think so, but okay. Um but yeah, it was interesting how that uh how that kept building and raining. We didn't expect it. But um yeah, we'll run through some of the starter things uh over the weekend at the start. Uh one thing I saw the crowd numbers come out today and you know, obviously they said forty thousand over the weekend, but it it definitely like I d I don't know what were QR numbers? 'C R was absolutely Oh, there was no one there. Oh, there was no one then. That was yeah, it was not. Which was
a shame because there was a lot going on. There was a few factors of why probably people weren't there. There was the Adelaide the Adelaide show one that goes for two weeks or something. And also two, the Crows were in finals AFL footy. So the Crows played on Saturday night.

the Adelaide show on people from Adelaide weren't coming out and stuff like that. But yeah, it just didn't have that atmosphere. I think we've come off a great event at QR. Obviously Bathurst would be awesome to get to, but yeah, I don't think that the there was
