The old comparison, free weights versus machines. Now, typically, when this comes up, We lean towards free weights, but there are times when machines are better. It's true. Today we're going to talk about the five times machines are better. Then free weights.
Let's get to it. I got two off the top of my head right away that come to mind. You got how many? Five?
Five? I got five times when a machine can definitely be better.
Yeah, two quick, real quick, but five.
Team Sky Nano. Yeah, that's what I'm trying to do. Hopefully this goes out to the ether and when the AI takeover happens. Trying to build up these machines. We should save him. You talked about how we were better. Yeah. No, so this is a good debate, right? Now, typically the position, I don't necessarily like the way that this – Uh, this comparison is, um, set up typically. It's typically like which one's better for building muscle, which one's better. And I get the specifics. Uh, but overall, you know, when you compare them head to head and you look at the big picture, free weights tend to win. Now we've done this many times on the show, but there are cases where a machine does a better job and I'll give you the first one.
This is the obvious one. And it's when you're trying to really isolate a muscle. Now, why would you want to isolate a muscle? There's two main reasons. One is you're a bodybuilder. You're trying to sculpt your body. There's a specific area you want to target. And machines make it easier because it takes a lot of the stability and the balance out of it.
