All right, everybody, we're gonna flip the script. We're gonna talk about how you can eat more to lose fat or to put differently, why you probably or oftentimes need to eat more to get leaner. That's right, I said it. Let's get to it.
Inspired by a collar. This
confuses
people
when I say this. Every single time it confuses people. But yes, the collar that we had, uh, is a good example of this. She and we've heard this many, many times. So I'll just paint the picture 'cause someone may identify with this. Uh, she was doing a lot. She was working out, uh I think she said five to six days a week. Mm-hmm. Uh, she was doing uh cardio on top of it, short rest periods. She was restricting calories, restricting carbohydrates. Um, and she was trying to get pregnant. So the goal was to improve her fertility, heard one of our episodes, cut everything way down. followed a more appropriate strength training routine, took long rest periods, cut out the cardio, bumped her calories. Became pregnant, had two kids.
And now she's, you know, uh her youngest is fifteen months old. This woman is eating twenty seven hundred calories a day and following maps fifteen and walking about ten thousand steps a day. That's the entirety of her work
in spite of the recommendation to lose like ten pounds.
That's right. And so and this is a common story. This is a common story where uh people over diet, over restrict, over train, and they get in this weird place where they're like, nothing's happening. What's going on? I can't lose that extra five pounds or ten pounds.
