Chapter 1: What is discussed at the start of this section?
This is an iHeart Podcast. Guaranteed human. Ready for a different take on Formula One? Look no further than No Grip, a new podcast tackling the culture of motor racing's most coveted series.
Join me, Lily Herman, as we dive into the underexplored pockets of F1, including the astrology of the current grid, the story of the sport's most consequential driver's strike, and plenty of other mishaps, scandals, and sagas that have made Formula One a delightful, decadent dumpster fire for more than 75 years.
Listen to No Grip on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
I'm Lori Siegel, and on my new podcast, Mostly Human, I'll take you to some wild corners of the tech world. I'm about to go on a date with an AI companion at a real world cafe right here in New York City.
There's no playbook for what to do when an AI model hallucinates a story about you.
Mostly Human is your playbook for how tech can work for you.
Anyone can now be an entrepreneur. Anyone can build an app. And it's very empowering.
Listen to Mostly Human on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen to your favorite shows.
This is one of the most dramatic events that really ever happened in New York City politics. I screamed, get down, get down. Those are shots. A tragedy that's now forgotten. And a mystery that may or may not have been political. That may have been about sex.

Chapter 2: What happened to Luka Doncic during the game?
Even Denver has gotten hot down the stretch. They're on a win streak right now. And nobody can still catch the Thunder, right? It's like J-Dub came back and then he was out a little bit. He hasn't been totally healthy since his return either. But yeah, the Thunder, they're just easy to ignore because they've been so good for the entire season.
They had the little patch in the middle of the year when they were struggling playing 500 basketball for a little bit.
losing their chance at chasing uh 74 wins but other than that it's like we had an awesome start 24 and 1 now they're totally rolling right now as healthy as they have been uh for the entire season they're still the team to beat absolutely and i mean they really showed it last night because luca he was slow on the first half he was grabbing at his leg the entire time but the game was over so quickly that it was like okay we're seeing the different levels between teams right here
I'm going to take an L here on taking the under on OKC in the preseason total wins. I believe it was 62.5, and I went under. I thought, yeah, they take their foot off the gas a little bit here, play the long game, really be healthy for the postseason, and then try and defend the title. Well, I mean, it looked over after 25 games.
Well, they're going to smash through that, but it's a little closer than maybe some anticipated. They've got to win two more games. They're at 61 wins now, two more games out of the final five. even if they were to sit all their guys, their main guys, I still have confidence in a lot of these guys in their second and third units getting the wins.
And also, they still have the Spurs breathing down their neck. So it's not wrapped up that they have the number one seed throughout the entire postseason. So point is, I got that one wrong. They're hitting at least 63 wins, I think.
I feel pretty confident saying that here.
Don't be too hard on yourself, man.
It was close.

Chapter 3: How did Luka's injury impact the Lakers' playoff chances?
But we got to check. Same tray. I don't know what it is. You guys are snacking on late night nuts and getting sick? Well, you sort of have it in your head, I'll have a healthy snack. You think so?
Then they get lodged in your bowel.
Yeah, popcorn and pretzels, I think. You eat those late at night, doesn't matter. They're good for you, actually. Popcorn is just good for you at this point. So I would recommend the brat diet, if you will, for Anthony Edwards. Bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast. It really binds things up on the inside. That's just something I'm thinking about for him.
But Dennis Jenkins is so good that we're learning how to pronounce his name correctly. They say Danis now on the broadcast.
Chapter 4: What are the implications of the NBA awards race following injuries?
It's Danis Jenkins, and he's played so well for the entirety of the season that we found out who he is, and then we found out exactly how to pronounce this guy's name. 26 points, eight assists last night, only one turnover against the Timberwolves. I don't think he starts in the postseason. I'm assuming Cade Cunningham at least comes back, is healthy. He's obviously the point guard for them.
They've got to have Duncan Robinson out there from a shooting perspective. Asar Thompson has been a starter as well. He's not a shooter, but he brings great defense. I can see one of those two, Robinson or Asar Thompson, being the adjustment guy who goes to the bench. Maybe they're playing off Thompson in the playoffs, and it's really gumming things up for the Pistons. We put in Dennis Jenkins.
This guy is so fast. He gets downhill immediately. I think that's such a cool... like change up to Cade Cunningham. Cade is so much more methodical. You got the speed guy in Jenkins. I can see him getting a chance to be a starter in the post season. If things aren't going well, like if, if Duncan Robinson becomes a target or something on the defensive end. So that's cool.
And I think this is just awesome. What the Pistons have done a to hold onto the one seed and the Eastern conference is pretty impressive. Once Cade went down and has missed like 10 games out, basically, at this point. And the Pistons haven't taken a step back at all.
At the very least, now when they get into the postseason, despite the lack of experience, they just got this one first-round hard-fought series from last year underneath their belts. But they can look back
on these 10 to 15 games at the end of the season say Cade picks up two fouls in the first quarter of game three at least they can go back and say yeah we played pretty well yeah when he was down the chemistry between Cade and Duren is more so than it is between Jenkins and Duren but I think they figured out how to play with each other as well so this has been a Decent stretch for the Pistons.
A bummer to lose Cade at the time they did, but they really found something and they figured out another way to play. And it just gives them another option when the entire year we're talking about what's it going to be like for the Pistons when things get tough and they take away the number one guy in Cade. They've got reliable number twos right now in Duren and Jenkins.
Yeah, this is one of the feel-good stories of the NBA season. This guy was a two-way contract player in Jenkins, and now he's putting up 26-5-8 in a big game against a really competitive Western Conference team, leading the way. They're 7-2 without Cade, I believe, since March 17th. And they went on a run here. This was a close game.
Like, no ant for the Wolves, but Pistons went on like an 11-0 run. Midway through the fourth quarter, you know, Duncan Robinson was making plays through that hoop to Sart-Thompson. Hit a big three. And they took control of the game and got it done. Great big picture stat here by way of Detroit Bad Boys, that excellent blog. Two seasons ago with Cade, This was still a bad team.

Chapter 5: What are the players' thoughts on the hotel accommodations?
Yeah. And it all seems to be because they don't like the hotel they stay in. They hate this hotel. Just one Hyatt. Come on. It's a bad Hyatt? Yeah, I guess so. I mean, yeah, there's like now these compilation clips like Derek White talking about it, Draymond Green talking about it.
A lot of people.
A lot of them do not like it.
Chapter 6: What are the opinions on Memphis compared to Nashville?
They don't, yep.
I guess it's whatever. It's not up to their standard or it's whatever. Dirty. I think Antz talked about it too. Yep. I saw Durant was just talking about it.
Yeah.
Maybe it's Zach Randolph.
Yeah.

Chapter 7: What are the nominees for Worst of the Week?
Hold on. Hold on. Come on. Grizzlies fan base is good. It is. Totally. Grindhouse was fun. Yeah. And they've been a very good team until recently. I don't like this.
Chapter 8: What are the highlights from the latest April Fool's Day pranks?
I'm not a fan of this, man. Memphis is cool. Yes. Do you think it's cooler than Nashville? I do, actually. Yeah. You know, Nashville. Okay. The strip is the strip Broadway, but there are very cool parts of Nashville, too.
Yeah, there's no shade against Nashville, but Memphis is smaller. And I like that their strip is actually kind of cool.
Like it's smaller and it's just Beale Street. Beale Street, yeah. It's very small.
Why don't they stay at the Peabody in Memphis? I don't know. They have a duck parade every day.
LeBron would love it. You think he likes ducks?
Yeah. I mean, who doesn't really dislike ducks besides that dog from Duck Hunt? Who doesn't like ducks? Who does like ducks? You don't like a duck? What's wrong with ducks? I mean, I grew up in Stratford, Ontario, guys. It was all about the swans, baby.
Oh, you're an elitist.
You're like these guys complaining about a five-star hotel.
Yeah. I only stay in hotels with swan parades. You can't duck parades. Hold on. You can't have a swan parade. Swans are... What do you mean you can't have a swan parade? Every year in Stratford, Ontario, we have a swan parade. Thank you very much.
