of the players are indeed uh back in town. Connor McTavid, Leon Dreisidel, uh Vasily Podculzin, Curtis Lazar, Andrew Maggiapani, uh Matt Savoy, who looks very good. Poised perhaps to get an opportunity out of the gate in the top six. Um David Tomasek, bigger than you think, along with uh Noah Phillip, James Hamlin. Uh those were some of the forwards that were out on the ice today. Alec Regula was out there defensively. The others had nurse and Kulak uh and Eckholm and Stetcher amongst the vets that were out there. But Alec Regula, we didn't see a lot of Alec last year due to his meniscus injury. He actually was moving pretty good out there. So So is Trent Frederick, who uh is coming off a high ankle spring, which some people like Rob Brown would tell you, uh, can take you the better part of a year to eighteen months.

And uh the goalie coach observing as well, the new one that has been hired by the uh Edmonton Oilers, and that is Peter Aubrey, of course, with Dustin Schwartz uh run as the Oilers goaltending coach going through seven head coaches, but Aubrey a new voice coming in. Anything stand out for you down at the ring today, besides the fact that they let us in.

Uh you know what? It was a lot of flow drills. You could tell the guys are just trying to get their skates back underneath them again, start feeling good about their legs. So uh that's what stood out to me the most, I think. Um you know what? It was a little bit It was a little bit sloppy out there, but it's it's hockey in September at the beginning of it all too. So I didn't expect too much in that way. Um they're flying though.

So there was there was uh Casper Captain but uh w just circle the the guy that I probably have the one of the players that's gonna be on the NHL team that I've got the least information on myself is David Tomasek. And he is indeed o like Majipani made a play uh today and the guys kinda gave him the the the you know, the ra raise the eyebrow after he He beat a defenseman and then was able to sweep around the goal there. It was a goal scorer's goal. He is I think with Majani scored thirty five goals for the Flames a year.
