Well, he's jetting off to Vancouver with the Edmonton Orlers. They will land oh shortly and get ready for tomorrow night's matchup. The other thing you're wondering is you're not leading off with anything from the tragically hip because that's what Bob does. I don't know. Am I wrong, Derek? Am I You're so right, Brynn. That was hilarious. I don't think I know a bigger tragically hip. fan than Bob Stoffer. You know, i in the old days when I was doing the afternoon show and I'd be leaving and Bob would be walking in and he would turn to either you or Kellen Kennedy and he'd go, Gimme something from the hip.

Yeah, things are good. Happy to be uh with you here on a fine Friday in uh a warm Friday. You're in shorts.
I gotta I'm gonna be honest with you. If I can push the envelope just a little bit and at uh what is it now? We've dropped to thirteen degrees, but it was sixteen when I got in here. It'll probably be two by the time I leave at six o'clock. You know what happens when the sun goes down in Alberta. It's a little chilly, but I'm not giving up the ghost.

I'm I'm not giving up the ship just like that. I know it's the hockey season and we're already into it and that kind of thing. So anyway, the orders are gonna be in Vancouver tomorrow night to take on the Canucks. Okay, so I viewed the game against Vegas as being a real tester, and I thought they played pretty well, but had a bad spell in the third period and gave up the two goals. Obviously gave up the winning goal and then the empty net goal. But this one tomorrow night, Brendan, is a big one against the Vancouver Canucks. We've got the broadcast for you, of course. Eight o'clock is when Puck drops. We'll be on with our pregame show at six thirty. But what do you think? It's the Canucks, it's the Oilers, and this is the first real meeting since last year's playoffs.
I liked the fact there was a certain element of uh you could feel there was a little angst between Vegas and Oilers on uh on Wednesday night. I kind of liked it. It felt very playoffy, and I'd be disappointed if we don't see more than the first.
The same tomorrow. I think that it's a safe bet. We're gonna get uh very feisty environment on hockey night in Canada and here on our airwaves.
