All right, we were talking about a little bit old school, and the game has changed. Look, I get it, right? Like I'm of a vintage where I wasn't tough enough nor brave enough and certainly not mature nor smart enough to have played in the Western Hockey League when I was 17. It is a different time. It's a different game. Though they went a little bit old school on Wednesday night with some ramifications for this weekend's game. Good. Got a little nasty on Wednesday, didn't it?
Yeah, it did for a game that, you know, from the standings, nothing could really change. It was certainly a playoff-style feel out there, and I think it's one of the longer Western League games I've been a part of. I know the game. It ended up being a two-hour and 45-minute game that didn't go to overtime, so there was a lot of scrums, to say the least. All right, and how many tilts were there in the game? Oh, there was actually only ended up being one tilt where guys actually or two tilts where guys actually dropped their gloves. But it was more, I guess, probably what you call new age fighting where guys leave their gloves on and just scrum it up as hard as they can.
Yeah. So did you get anybody get hurt or were there any suspensions out of that?
No, it ended up being a lot of just misconducts and guys getting kicked out of the game to try to control it at the end. But no injuries from our side. And from what I don't know about their side, obviously, but nobody has suspended. No.
So here's the deal with the Edmonton Oil Kings. It's already decided, right? You are hosting the Saskatoon Blades. Is that right?
Not totally decided on the Saskatoon part yet. They need one. Brandon needs one more point, or Saskatoon needs to lose one more point. Brandon's three up on Saskatoon. They both have two games left. Oh, I'm sorry.

Yeah, I mean, Brandon's just kind of gone on a bit of a slide here. You know, the last couple, I guess the last three games they've lost. So it was looking like that. It probably still potentially ends up that way, but not 100% official yet.
You guys are in Lethbridge tonight and then home to Calgary again on Sunday. I don't see Carter Southern in the lineup tonight. So that's why I thought, you know, was there some suspensions? But there's none of that, is there?
No, there's no suspensions. I think it's just that time of the year where you can give guys a little bit of rest. We've been playing pretty heavy minutes for you, so I would envision here with these games not having a lot to do with the standings for us. You might not see everybody play tonight and on Sunday.
Well, one guy that is starting to emerge for you a bit, and there's no surprise, is Caden Strader. He doesn't get drafted for another year. He's going pretty good, isn't he?
