Yeah. Well, I mean we all knew there was gonna be some challenges defensively. But you gotta get s there's there's a couple things that can camouflage weaknesses in a teams game. And one is getting saves and the other is special teams. Unfortunately, the Oiders went through their first two games without getting a save on the PK. Which I've never seen in history through two hockey games, but they had five shots on goal and they all ended up in the net. And so the first couple of games I was kinda like, Well they could you know, but they probably deserved a better fate against Chicago. They need some stops. And then they went away against Calgary. Calgary took over the second or third period of the game.
So now I'm gonna ask you Should there be a and I know you wanted Edmonton to match on Broberg because you said defensemen are hard to get, but should there be concern with where the orders are at right here in oil country?
I think that, you know, first off when I look around the league, there are four pretty good teams that don't have a win yet. Just for clarity, when you think of Edmonton, Colorado, Nashville and the Hurricanes, they've only played one game. So it's a weird start for a lot of people, but should there be concern It would be very easy to default to the fact that it's only three games, it's a small sample size. But you can rest assured when you're in management you're hypersensitive to any streak, particularly when they start at the beginning of the year. The others went through some massive changes over the summer. Uh, particularly with you know, the back end. They haven't gotten a save. They haven't had any real luck on the special teams.
Certainly haven't played up to the way they have in the past. And when you add that all together, it's put a lot of pressure in analyzing what they did on the back end. And basically in my opinion. The reason that uh I didn't want the oilers to match on Broberg in the center saying it Bob it's not my call or anything like that. I just said in my opinion
