Hello, Bruce, how you doing? Good, how are you, Bob? I'm not back. It was an interesting conversation with Trent Frederick. I think he knows he had a tough year last year. I'm gonna be very intrigued to see if he has a big bounce back this season because Um, you know, the orders made a bet on a price point, uh, made the trade, uh, you know, second rounder and a six, the the a former six, the prospect, uh Uh, La Chance was part of that deal and a three way deal with the New Jersey Devils as they retained a bit of money. Yeah, I think uh well, fur first of all I it's not like he hasn't done it in the past. I mean, this is a guy who scored almost twenty goals a couple of times, if I remember right, in Boston and You know, I i so I think he's you know, he he's proven he can do it in this league and I you know, I don't d you know I think you hit the nail on the head or he hit the nail on the head. Health has been the big thing there. I don't think there's any been or there's been any degradation in uh the skill set. I think health's been a big thing and to be candid with you and I com commented on this number of times last year, last season, I don't think him and the head coach were on the same page. And I think maybe the head coach and the management staff weren't on the same page with the about w what this player

uh was what role he was supposed to have. And You know, I Think that wears on a guy. And so you got new coaching staff, fresh perspective, different voice, different ideas. Anything can happen. Dustin Penner is exactly the guy I thought of uh when um it made the change that coach like this that you could get something exactly like this.

He was talking specifically about defenders, but I again he's gonna be involved with the penalty kill and but as it related to defenders, I think he had said, I believe it was on your show, um, that i hi hi by the end of the year every defender should play with every other defender, um, so that you have Lots of uh flexibility uh when you're you know running out pairings. Well the same thing on the penalty kill, right?
