Four-time Olympian Chris Pronger was on the show yesterday. He won two gold medals for Canada. He had these thoughts on the Olympic decor being the same as the Four Nations face-off.
The bulk of them haven't had the best of years. You know, I think, again, like last year, I think they take Drew Doughty because of his experience, having been at the last couple Olympics for Team Canada in 10 and 14. But Barranco's had a tough year. Sanheim's been okay. You know, you look at, to your point, you look at playmaking on the back end, they get any injuries to any of the top four, Morrissey, Theodore, Caves, and McCarr, and you never know what's going to happen. Murley's another guy who played extremely well last year. That was kind of his coming out party. I'm a big fan of his game. You know, I think for Canada, to what we're talking about with respect to the defensive play, Unfortunately, I think that's the Achilles heel that really affected Evan Bouchard's chances because of the way he started the season and the way he's looked upon with respect to being a defensive liability or coughing up pizzas at inopportune moments during a game.
