Well, all he said was, I just wish that Connor didn't go there. with his comments after the game on Saturday night, where he basically said, we'll go talk to, go talk to Nobber when talking about the coaching and that kind of thing. And I'm, I just wish he had said, look, I'm just focusing on the next game. I know that that's boring and people like to see a little bit of color, a little bit of personality coming from Connor, but I just, I don't like, I learned from slats when I worked for the team, don't ever kick it upstairs, just bite your tongue and move on. I wasn't aware that he said go talk to Knobber, but I saw some of the comments that he made. He was pretty profusely complimentary of the coaching staff in Tampa. I don't think that was probably productive. It's hard to compare anybody against John Cooper as the preeminent coach in the game right now. And, you know, he's had a ton of success. He's got a ton of polish. He's had longevity. He still has a respect in the ear of his players. And that's hard to do. So, I mean, I don't think because Connor was complimentary of John Cooper that you know, it was necessarily meant to be reflected negatively on Chris. Right. I mean, when you, like, obviously, Connor's frustration level is growing. And, you know, that puts a lot of pressure on some of the players that,
aren't that good uh you know because you don't want to let a guy like that down you want to play well and sometimes guys that are trying to hang on to an nhl job can get nervous in those situations so sometimes you know that's not always always productive but you know Is it an intellectual thing with the players that they're not executing, or is it an ability level of the players? objectively look at both lineups when you go into the Tampa Bay game and compare Tampa's lineup against Edmonton's lineup going into that game especially without Leon yes I mean it looks like there's probably half a dozen or more players on that Edmonton lineup Saturday night that Tampa would have no interest in in helping their team or they have no ability to help
Tampa and notwithstanding money, like not even talking about money, that players, they just wouldn't have any interest in. And that's a lot. And, you know, they're all good players.
