They're 10 points out of a playoff spot. And they're winless in their last 10. And not only that, they keep finding new creative ways of cashing in their chips in the final 5 to 10 minutes of a third period. I don't know what's going on there. Scott Arneal I've known for a very long time. When I worked with the Winnipeg Jets, he was one of the players. Scotty got a lot of time for him.

It felt like a win that the team really needed. The last couple games at home haven't exactly gone the way that they would have wanted it to. They get Kasperi Kapanen back in the lineup, and he was electric. Scored a goal, but also I looked at the stats. He led the team in hits, so he was bringing that physicality. He brought a lot, and he shaved. People who know him see he's got long, long hair and a long, long beard. He shaved it all off. It's a new look for Kapanen, and he did pretty well.
Your thoughts on Ryan Nugent Hopkins?
I mean, what can you say? 500 career assists. He's just been the perfect guy. One of those first overall picks from the early 2010s that really worked out for the Oilers, and he's just been fantastic for them.
