I'm doing good. How are you guys? Good. Are you back in Chicago? I am. I'm not happy to be here. This rainy, cold weather is not something that I wanted to come back to. I was out there, Marshall, for 11 days out in the desert. And then you come back to this and you're like, God, what are we doing?
Oh, my goodness. And technology wouldn't even let you answer that question without glitching. So that just goes to show you're supposed to be back out there, man. Get on a flight.
Yeah, I might have to, but I'm making a quick turnaround to Indy this weekend as well because we've got some Illini basketball to go cheer on here this weekend.
Yeah, exciting. I keep forgetting you're an Illini alum, and I don't know why because I remember everybody else. This is a good time. It's like, when do you leave for Indy?
We're piecing that together still. But if it's possible to make it to that open practice, which I know is very early tomorrow, we'll try to make that. My son's off school tomorrow, so there may be an option to get there early.

Exciting. In the meantime, let's talk about the thing that we've all gotten fatigued about talking about. It's not the picks because I feel like that is at least football related. What were your takeaways from what George McCaskey and Kevin Warren had to say regarding the stadium?
I just think it's so difficult to be so far along in this saga and still have such a lack of clarity. And I think that they're very hopeful and optimistic that by the middle of June, this will all be very crystallized and clear. But we can't be promised that. You know what I mean? We've lived through this in various forms for almost five years now with this whole stadium saga. And it just feels like they are so much further
further away from the finish line than they should be at this point there's a lot of work left to be done uh in both states and and so hopefully they can find a way to to get there are you convinced that indiana's a real thing based on what you heard and what you've read and just what you know because it's been a long time coming to get to even this point dan
It has to be a real thing because there's no promise that you're going to get what you need from Illinois to make Arlington Heights a real thing. And so if you don't have a plan B, you are not doing this the right way. I don't think it's the best case scenario. I don't think it's the ideal wish of the entire organization to wind up in Hammond, Indiana. But I think there came a point in time where the patience level forced them to get wandering eyes and to find a plan B that could be viable. And so I think in that regards, it's not purely leverage, that it has to be a realistic solution for you unless you want to just abandon this project altogether, finish out the lease at Soldier Field, and then figure out what the heck you're going to do with a property in Arlington Heights that you paid almost $200 million for immediately.
And has, you know, obviously quite a bit of land to deal with. So, you know, I don't know which way this thing's going to twist and turn in the long run. Hopefully that gives you some context on kind of where my viewpoint is on it.
