Now, when it comes to social media content, you'll struggle to find anyone in the space that we're all in that generates more leads, more inquiries, and makes more profit from organic social media posting than what I do and my team do for all my four businesses. We've built, grown, and scaled our businesses all based off the back of. Social media presence. So I know having been teaching social media strategies since 2012, I know that there's a massive shift happening right now in the social media landscaping. I've seen it affecting my own social media channels and coaching some of the UK's biggest social media. Influencers such as Mark Marshall from Loans, Stripes and Hedges, who's arguably the biggest and number one trades social media influencer in the entire UK with over five million followers, accurate Mark.
People like Andy Cam. Plumbing and eating engineer at Cozy Warm Plumbing, who's got his famous strat line, I love plumbing. I've coached Andy since 2012 and helped him build his personal brand and his social media influence. So, given the fact that I'm working with some of the top influencers in the country, and if you want to go and check out my social media and look at the engagement and the type of content we're putting out, feel free to. If you go to TikTok and search for at Trades Freedom Club, you'll see our short form video reels. And if you want to see my Facebook and my personal Facebook, Facebook, search for Craig Wilkinson on Facebook and look at the amount of engagement that I get on my social media posts that all contribute to new leads coming into my four businesses.
The link to my personal Facebook I'll leave in the show notes and the comments below so you can come and follow me and check out what type of content I'm sharing on Facebook that's working right now. But regardless of all that, there's a massive shift changing.
Why is the social media landscape changing for tradesmen?
And if you do not start to pivot with the way in which you're creating your social media content, I am telling You now, within the next 12 to 18 months, particularly with the fact that AI is massively on the scene with social media now and the speed that AI is moving at, within 12 to 18 months, your social media platforms will be generating you little or no leads unless you are that what I share with you in this podcast episode. So. So let me start off by taking you back. Let's go back three, five, seven, eight years ago. Social media was easy. I mean, come on, let's face it, you'd finish a nice job, you'd take a photograph, maybe a before and after, you'd stick it on Facebook or stick it on LinkedIn if you're the B2B market.
You'd write little captions, there'd be no captions on any videos or anything like that. You'd just stick something out, another happy customer, another boiler installed in Sheffield today. And that alone would bring you in enquiries. You didn't need all the fancy videos, the captions and the transitions.
