Chapter 1: What is the main topic discussed in this episode?
We've got a problem here, Lane. What's that?
Chapter 2: What is the significance of Betcha's Super Bowl party?
Well, of course, today we have Betcha's biggest Super Bowl party. Biggest Super Bowl party ever, actually, at the Takapuna Surf Club. What a day it is. We're currently on deck, on site, at the Takapuna Surf Club. But the problem we have is it is a real day to have a sesh, isn't it?
Well, yeah, it is a beautiful day out on the rooftop. There's about 300-odd Lizzies are going to join us here from midday.
Not to be confused with the Lizzies.
No, Lizzies, L-I. It is dangerous, actually, because, look, listen, I freely admit that the grand final of the Super Bowl is... is my one time I dipped my toes into the NFL season. And for a lot of New Zealanders, it's the same.
Yeah, I'm not too dissimilar, yeah.
And I'll tell you what, I don't really know what's going on most of the time, but I'm here for the halftime entertainment. Bad Bunny, huge fan. You're a massive Bad Bunny guy. Huge fan of Bad Bunny. Been following him since he was a youngster.
What's your favourite song from him again?
His first one?
Yeah.

Chapter 3: How do the hosts feel about the Super Bowl halftime show?
Yep. Huge redneck. Which means? He's doing his rival show, so instead of watching Bad Bunny, you can flip over to some other network, I believe, who's carrying his own one.
Well, fuck that, because here at the Takapuna Surf Club, we have got the full American... Well, actually, no, that makes it sound like we're going to be switching over to Kid Rock. We've got the American stream of this. We're currently watching the pre-game.
So we get all the ā the big thing about Super Bowl is you get ā the halftime is famous for its halftime ads. However, all throughout the Super Bowl are other ads as well that can't afford the halftime show but are just as good. It's a relentless spectacle, isn't it? That's so good. I mean, I'm here for the ads and Bad Bunny.
As we were setting up before, we were just getting reminded how these pills might give you diarrhoea, nausea and some family domestic issues. Why are all the American ads so focused on telling you for about 15 seconds what's wrong with the drug that they're promoting?
No, that's part of marketing pharmaceuticals in America. Is that Big Pharma? Big Pharma. You have to detail any sort of side effects that could potentially happen. So you've got... Pretty much slapped in your face, diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting.
Yeah, but geez, they're good for weight loss, those pills. Oh, they are superb for weight loss. I can't help but notice as well, we both implemented a similar tactic this morning of driving to work thinking this is just another day at work. Already I've created too much admin for myself because I've already put some plans in place to now go back on that plan. Oh, yeah, okay.
Loz is dropping the car back at halftime.
Oh, yeah, okay.
Got Ubers coming later, that kind of thing. So why do we always do that? Why do we wake up in the morning and go, today's not the day?

Chapter 4: What are the early results from the Super Rugby preseason?
So everyone knows that. Everyone just goes out. Everyone goes out there for a good time.
One of the great prize givings at the end of it as well. You tend to be absolutely hammered as we all do. Yeah, there's a lot of effing and jeffing. Yeah, there's a lot of that going on.
And then that night, Get this, Super Rugby starts. Oh, yeah. So the first game of Super Rugby this Friday night, Friday the 13th, unlucky for some. Who is kicking off? Yeah, who is playing? I'm jumping ahead on the run sheet here a little bit. Who is? It's a good seg, though. First up is... Oh, no, we don't know.
We're just having a look at pre-season results here. These are quite interesting. We should get to that later on.
We should know who's playing this Friday, really.
So the Fijian Udrua beat the Fijian provincial selection team 78-12.
What does that mean? Okay, well, that just seems like they played the second 15th. The Chiefs pumped the Hurricanes. Oh, yeah, 29-0. Get that up, yeah. Yeah, Blues over the Crusaders, 45-24 out there. And on the domain, Highlanders over Moana by 10 points.
Do you feel like the Crusaders logo is looking more and more like two downstairs as the years go on? Yeah, it's kind of... It's getting more and more phallic, isn't it? It's kind of... That hurts.
It is kind of strange. Anyway. I don't like that kind of stuff down there. So the commentary live and free on iHeartRadio and on Radio Hauraki as well. So get into that this Friday, every Friday and Saturday night for the entire Super Rugby season. All of the All Black games as well, all the home games, all the championship games, all live and free, iHeartRadio and on Radio Hauraki.

Chapter 5: What are the latest updates on the T20 World Cup?
Yeah, she did. Lindsay Vonn.
That's a quick nod from Joe.
He's well across that. But she, at the age of 40-odd, ripped her ACL to bits a week before the Olympics. She absolutely stacked it on her race.
She got helicoptered off. That feels like a lot of work on the ACL. What I'm trying to say is that's an aggressive effort trying to go after that event.
Yeah, she was dead. She said she's put her body through worse. But she actually helped out the Kiwi Alice Robinson. She helped her part of her academy. She's so successful, she's got her own academy. Oh, fair play. So she's a bit of a legend.
So she was sucking on that green whistle.
Oh, yeah. She got helicoptered off. Anyway, it's good times. I'm really enjoying the Winter Olympics. Like I said, Park and Pipe's where it's at. And the female skeleton thing. Yeah. Right, let's park it. Just search it. Female skeleton, super slow-mo.
It's time for an ultra. That's all I have to say. Also, no, we're on the run sheet about United getting their fourth win in a row. Oh, they did, did they? They did, yeah. So the dude's going to get a haircut? Well, Wednesday morning, 9am, people have been asking for a watch along G-Lane. Everyone wants it. Do they? Everyone? Everyone wants it.
Can you list them? You, your father-in-law. That's about it. Maybe Martin Devlin. We'll see tomorrow. Oh, jeez, if Devlin's keen, I'm out.
