Chapter 1: What insights do Matt Heath and Finn Caddie share about Lightning McQueen?
Morning Matty! G'day guys! Hey, first up, I'd like to say thank you for your F1 Corner pre-record. It was good. It was good that we could just contain it, and then play it out, and it was informative. Some people did a little bit of feedback, some people said it had about three or four endings, you just kept coming back. Yeah. That would be the only bit of feedback, but apart from that.
It was a breaking story, and then I forgot.
Chapter 2: What were the highlights of State of Origin Game 1?
It was such a great race, and I kept forgetting bits. Because I got right to the end of recording it for you guys, and then I remembered Lindblad shitting the bed at the start and not being able to get his car into gear. So just a little bit of F1 chat at the start then.
Chapter 3: How did the Blackcaps perform against Ireland on Day 1 of the Test?
Everyone's been bagging the cars. Everyone's hating the 50-50 hybrid. Strap-ons hates it. Yet the races have probably been the best races in quite some time. I would say that's because of the new cars that moved out of the downforce sort of era. And so there's not so much dirty air. So you can be right up someone's ass. And that's the best thing about them.
So whether they were naturally aspirated engines, you know, like combustion engines or not.
Chapter 4: What impact does Dogroll's injury have on NZ Rugby?
Yeah.
Chapter 5: How is NZ Rugby supporting Moana Pasifika financially?
That's more of an aerodynamic thing that they can be right up their arse. That was what's so great about it. You had Kimmy and Antonelli. And he was just point, you know, he was two-tenths of a second up George's arse. And just, God, I love that guy.
Chapter 6: What are the implications of the All Whites playing England in an empty stadium?
That little insane little man. He doesn't care. He just attacks from so far back. And he's just got that 19-year-old don't give a shit. He's got a laughable lip. Yeah. He's a cutie.
Chapter 7: What feedback do listeners provide in the 'Yours Please' segment?
You want to rub his head. And how much do Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen love him? It was the biggest love in the podcast, in the cool-down room you could ever imagine. And it was so heartwarming to see how much Max and Lewis get on. Because you hear all these stories. There's sort of the drive to survive. But those two just respect each other. And Max is going, oh, you were so good on six.
And you nearly killed me on 13. Yeah. And then I was just thinking, you know, George Russell, who thought he was going to be coronated this year as the champion. Mercedes was so far ahead at the start of the year with the engine and the car and everything. But now he's got Antonelli, who's just... A rookie last year, but now he's just that much better. He's just got more pace.
And then to look at the podium and the two absolute legends, Max and Lewis, just trying to kill him with champagne and just holding him up and just loving him. That'd be so awesome because, I mean, you know, three years ago, four years ago, he's a 15-year-old. Yeah. 13-year-old. And then he's in a cool-down room with his idols.
Yeah.
There's all these pictures coming out of him, you know, getting autographs from those two back in the day. Yeah. Take a mental picture of what Kimi Antonelli is right now and how he talks and how he looks. And in 10 years' time, come back to that, because you remember Lewis Hamilton was very similar. He came on the scene as an 18-year-old, cute as a button, very innocent.
And then after 10 years, he's dressing like he's going to some sort of cosplay festival. He's got his own brand of clothing. He's got hair extensions in the front of his head now that he puts back into braids. So I just want to see how Kimi Antonelli turns out. I agree, and I also think that podium will be an iconic podium going into the future because it'll be the three.
I can see Kimi Antonelli just being that legend for 10 years. And that podium today with those three of them is going to look back at, look, you had a podium that had Max Lewis and Kimi Antonelli on it. It'll just look so iconic. It's kind of three generations as well.
Yeah. Of racing over the last five, six years.
Ten years, yeah. But I do agree with you because everyone's in that position where they're enjoying the races but hate hybrids. Yeah. And I think they are going to go back. I don't care about hybrids. I think they're going to go back to they're going to have full combustion engines 3031. I mean 2031. Because they have to give them a good five-year lead-in, don't they?
