And I've successfully opened our podcast. We are coming to you remotely instead of in person, of course, because of a giant blizzard in New York City. I'm broadcasting from my eight-year-old daughter's bedroom.
Oh, nice. I'm broadcasting from my home office, also known as my bedroom in a tiny New York City apartment.
That's where Joe Rogan does his podcast. Yes, I think so.

All right, so let's talk about, we were off last week, so let's talk about maybe some of the things we missed very quickly. Of course, the blizzard.
The blizzard is, yeah, pretty top of mind as I'm looking out my window. It's intense.
Yes. This is... My windows are covered.
yeah same and stacked just stacked snow and i'm looking at the trees outside going like i'm just hoping that the branches don't break off it's for sure this is i i was remembering moving to new york in 2015 and there was a blizzard early in the year of 2016 about 10 years ago and i remember that being pretty intense but this is I think this is more so. This is the most intense blizzard I've ever experienced. And that includes getting norovirus from Dairy Queen.
Wow. And that was intense. I hope Dairy Queen's not a sponsor. i hope we'll find out i guess we'll see i guess we'll see it's also don't be silly we don't have sponsors for this maybe there's a competing uh soft serve ice cream uh company that wants to step in and we will mention that it doesn't give you norovirus the non-neurovirus soft serve if you pay us enough money we will we will clarify that your product doesn't give you norovirus that's right But it's going to cost you. So, of course, you and I are both parents. So we were stuck at home with our kids. So there's a simmering tension, of course, to this blizzard. It's not a winter wonderland as much as it is a day inside with shouting.
Yeah, bored children.
Bored screens.
But I do appreciate a good old-fashioned snow day with no Zoom school. I do appreciate that Mondani was like, no Zoom school, no homework, traditional snow day. But inevitably in my house, that means that my kid's going to be on his iPad for 14 hours binge-watching Stranger Things or something. I mean, he's not going outside.
I mean, we force our kids to go outside because they look at a snow day as a green light to break all the time limits.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
All the sugar restrictions, everything.
Oh, everything. It all goes out the window.
It's chaos inside and outside the house.
What are they doing right now? Are they on their iPads?
You know what? I think they're playing Minecraft because I need them to be quiet while I'm podcasting.
How does a blizzard impact daily life for parents?
Whatever it takes.
Daddy's podcasting. We better play Minecraft. They're all walking on eggshells. What a weird childhood.
Don't disturb daddy when he's podcasting.
We'll never hear that again. As if I do it very often.
