You thought that you couldn't afford the American dream. You thought that you couldn't afford the American dream. Wait till now. Wait till these tariffs on steel and metal and aluminum, or as they say, aluminum, across the pond. Wait till these tariffs go in. And see if you were ever able to afford the American dream in the near or even far future.
It's not going to happen. The price of houses about to go through the roof. President Donald Trump has ordered a 25% import tax on all steel and aluminum entering the U.S. in a major expansion of existing trade barriers. The tariffs, which will increase the costs of importing the metals into the U.S., come despite warnings of retaliation from some political leaders in Canada. America's biggest supplier of metals. As well as other countries. It's not just Canada. Canada's like, we don't need you. We got our own syrup. We got our own metals. We got our own aluminum. You need ours. So do your thing, America, Trump. That's honestly what they're saying. All of this has prompted the trend on social media, hashtag MAGA regrets.
Do you know some folks who are regretting? This is a mashup of tons of voters saying that they now regret voting for Donald Trump. Again, we don't know. Some of it may be satire, but we know that a lot of it is real because I have encountered some of these folks. But here it is. Watch.
