So thank you for joining us. Good evening. Welcome to the Don Lemon Show. I have a disturbing question to ask you. Are the tech, our tech overlords in Silicon Valley, are they potentially creating artificial intelligence that's racist? Now, I kind of know the answer to that somewhat because people always talk about algorithms and I always say, well, somebody is programming that algorithm and it all depends on the perspective of the person who programs it. It all depends on the knowledge of the person who programs it. It all depends on how that person is educated.
It all depends on how that person moves through society and assimilates and whatever it is. That's all. So someone... is, you know, someone is programming that. Now, let's see. I think I have some developing stuff here. So, that's what I want to ask. So, We're going to talk about that. We're going to get Taylor Lawrence is going to join us in a bit to talk about that. You know, it's something that we need to ask ourselves after some disturbing developments that we saw on the social media yesterday. Later in the show, I'm going to talk with veteran tech journalists and break down all what that all means for us. And that's Taylor Lawrence. So and then we're going to talk about the Supreme Court. First, though, let me just give you really quickly.
A couple of things that have transpired, just so I can give you a quick update. This is on Diddy. According to the TMZ, Diddy overdosed on painkillers. Diddy overdosed on painkillers after a string of activity that included a freak-off, a visit to a sex club, and a party at the Playboy Mansion. That's what Cassie testified in court. What is... How do you go to a sex... I don't know. Look, I mean, if you want to go to the sex club, that's your business. I'm not judging you. Consenting adults, your business. But this just seems like a lot. Cassie told the jury that Diddy was dependent on opiates for a time and that he overdosed in February of 2012 after taking a very strong opiate. Cassie testified that on the day Diddy OD'd, they had a freak off and went to a sex club in San Bernardino and that Diddy went without her
to party at the Playboy Mansion. She said later that evening, she helped take Diddy to the hospital where she was told he had overdosed. Okay, so that is one update, right? And among many, let's see, during the same line of questioning, Diddy defense, Cassie also revealed that she and Diddy used to call each other get high partners and that Diddy was explosive when she used drugs without him. Cassie also testified there was nothing added to the baby oil in the free coughs and that the substance was not laced with drugs. OK, well, there's some positive news. All right. And then let's see. One more update. Cassie testified accusing Diddy. Diddy accused me, she said, of an affair with Michael B. Jordan.
Michael B. Jordan is sitting around going, don't bring me into this shit. Why am I being brought into this? Also, you saw on the thumbnail, I think on the TMZ, I think that was Kid Cudi that was on, testified that Diddy suspected she was having an affair with Michael in 2015 after she broke up with Diddy while she was in South Africa filming a movie.
