Well... The economy's nosediving, hurtling toward a recession. Civil liberties, yeah, they're circling the drain. And our strategic alliances overseas, well, those are barely recognizable. Trump's over here governing by, I don't know, tantrum, truth social, Twitter, decrees, or whatever the fuck. And vengeance, retribution. Let's insert the we freaking told you so right here. I'm sorry, but we warned you.

But what's worse about all of this? is that the Trump authoritarian chaos, the people who should be standing up to him, well, they're still acting like this is some normal political environment. They're using the same tired tactics of yesteryear. Get the out of here. Oh my God, just shut up already, you two. I don't want to hear how freaking troubled or concerned you are by Trump's unconstitutional behavior anymore if you aren't going to do something about it. Use your powers as senators to actually stop him without equivocation.

And now we're officially shrinking. First quarter GDP under Trump down.
The first contraction since 2022. Some economists are out here predicting we've got a 90% chance of a recession. Great. Now this isn't from some like foreign shock. This is a made in Mar-a-Lago economic malpractice by Trump. This isn't COVID doing this, but somehow it's Biden's fault now. Yes, Trump is out here blaming Joe Biden because of course he is. Fact check. Last quarter, GDP under Biden, 2.4% growth. The quarter before that, 2.8% growth. That was under President Joe Biden in 2024. So as we all know, Trump has just gutted the federal workforce, fired over 120,000 public servants, including scientists, diplomats, regulators, career professionals.
