And I am asking that honestly, because earlier this afternoon, as I said, every major cable network broadcast mostly in full.
I think MSNBC cut out of it. Right. But they broadcast it without fact checks. The former president, Donald Trump's deranged. And I'm not this is not hyperbole. And my guests will confer as well. I'm sure deranged, incomprehensible. press conference, ranty. He unraveled, I think, it was down at Mar-a-Lago in the Florida, in the Palm Beach. Okay, so I couldn't count the number of lies that I heard from him in only five minutes when I first tuned in. So this is free media attention and it gives another Trump, it could actually help to propel a number two or another Trump presidency. That's what I'm worried about. And my dog is as well. So that's why I wouldn't put my dog away. Or this time around, you know, will sunlight prove to be the best disinfectant?
So we have so much to dig into. Fortunately, I have a very stellar panel to help break it all down. Joshua Doss is here. I did watch the press conference today. It was hard to watch. I will say that much. My immediate thought. Oh, we get in the dark.

Honestly, my immediate thought was that if if the Republican Party was anything other than just a subsidiary of Donald Trump, I think that actually would have been the speech that would have pushed them to tell him to step aside. I mean, Donald Trump has always been a pretty erratic communicator, but nonetheless been effective in some ways. But it was especially bad today. And it very much so proved the point that Trump has diminished in these last 48 years in a lot of the same ways that he claimed President Biden has diminished. He did his typical song and dance. It was racist. It was sexist. It was everything under the sun. But but like I think it was more more so it was low energy. And it seemed a little bit to explain why he hasn't been campaigning lately.
So I don't know. I think it was, though it was hard to watch because of all the antics, it also kind of said to me that the Trump campaign is in real, real turmoil right now.
Didn't it? I mean, to me, Olivia, I was like, he's shook because he kept turning questions about other things into crowd-sized questions. And I'm like, who's asking him? What is he? So he must be sitting at home. in Mar-a-Lago with his Diet Cokes and his cheeseburger or whatever, and he's thinking, he's seeing these crowd sizes on television, and it is really triggering him.
Yeah. You know, as an American who is concerned about political violence from the right, you know, I'm concerned. As a political strategist, I'm delighted in the way that he's been acting and the way that these rallies have been going, because it shows that Donald Trump is an insecure, not confident candidate. He's old. He can't keep up with Kamala Harris. And it almost feels like watching him and these rallies and the way that he talks about it, it feels like him and Joe Biden went through a breakup and the way of like, he's still talking about Joe Biden.
