Could heavy metals be the reason for my health issues?

Dr. Daniel Pompa 0:00
Could heavy metals be why you don't feel well? Believe it or not, why you can't even lose weight? Of course, major brain fog, major energy loss, sleep, pain, gut problems that won't heal. The answer is absolutely yes. However, I wanted to do this episode about heavy metals because there's a lot of myths, a lot of pitfalls, and a lot of things done wrong. Most of you watching me know that I've trained doctors for more than 20 years on my detox protocols, but many of which started out of heavy metals. Why? Because that's my story. And I'm going to share a little bit more about my story because in it is a lot of good teaching, honestly. Everything I learned and that I have been teaching for 20 years has been pain to purpose.
Dr. Daniel Pompa 0:46
And I am always saying, that I'm not smart enough to come up with it. God allowed me to go through what I went through to be even here today, teaching you this message. And if you're hearing my voice right now, I know somehow, somehow that you're meant to hear these words. Okay, look, there is a lot of pitfalls around testing for heavy metals. Okay, have you done a hair test? Have you done a urine test? Have you done a blood test? Well, I can tell you all of those tests could lead you with a false positive or a false negative and lead you down the wrong path. Okay, what about the solution? Have you tried Corella? Cilantro? Have you tried the little heavy metal detoxes? Have you tried zeolite drops? Have you tried... Yeah, the list does, in fact, keep going on.
Dr. Daniel Pompa 1:33
Well, many of those things could have made you actually worse. Even maybe you didn't feel much of anything when you did them, But what happens is they create more redistribution and they can put metals further into your brain and other tissues. So the question then begs to be answered, what do I do? Okay, that's, yeah, 20 years of me teaching that. But I'm going to make this as tight as I can, literally, in 15 or 20 minutes. So you can literally walk away from this episode and say, okay, I've got a grasp on this. All right, I do want to start a little bit with my story because I didn't choose any of this. Absolutely, all of it chose me, or I would say God chose me for it. I spent, this was about 1999, 2000, 2001, two, three, four, five, looking for answers like many people, right?
Dr. Daniel Pompa 2:25
But back then, of course, we didn't have the crazy AI. We didn't have chat, of course. We didn't even have that a few years ago, but we didn't have the internet like we have it. I literally find myself in the library on microfiche. I just dated myself and older folks like myself are laughing. Yeah, microfiche, yeah. Can you believe you'd actually have to go in there and like, you know, look for data, you know, on these things, this literally this... archaic system of a library that you're just like moving all of these topics on. Oh, it was a disaster, but spent many hours there. I spent hours in bookstores, actually, just like looking for the right book to buy. And if I thought I found someone that had an answer, of course, I'd take it home and read the book.
Dr. Daniel Pompa 3:10
I spent... lots of time and money traveling the country because if I read somebody's book and thought they had an answer I would go and oftentimes within moments I would lose hope because in moments I realized that I probably knew more about their book and their material than they did or in fact it was maybe perhaps an oversell so spent a lot of time looking for answers and I spent a lot of time you know, really going down the wrong roads as well. My adrenals were fried. I spent so much time just chasing my adrenals because they were, in fact, toast. Why? Because my bucket of stress was full, physical, chemical, emotional, overflowing. And that's when my whole symptoms started. By the way, started with just fatigue.
Dr. Daniel Pompa 3:58
And I was training at a very high level, very busy practice at the time. And I was just found myself flat on my back. I'd never happened before. So I thought I was overtraining. Took time off and I was getting worse, not better. And then the crazy symptoms started happening.
