Well look, I think the Democratic Party will do much better if it's less concerned with the Democratic Party and really focuses on the people. We are in an existential crisis right now in a country that's not left or right. It's right or wrong. And that's why you see Republicans leaving him, independents leaving him, and so much enthusiasm amongst Democrats.
But s do you think Democrats are drawing a firm enough line between themselves and socialism?
Again, uh this is really what the Republicans want to do, focus on uh a few fringe people. This is a distraction.

I'm not focused on the streamers and what they're saying. Hassan Piker doesn't mean anything to me. I'm not concerned about DSA candidates. My view is the Democratic Party. should be a big tent party. They are bringing young people and others into the Democratic Party.

No. Um first off, good to see everybody. Hope everybody had a good weekend. So I I share the view uh of of Senator Van Hollandair from the standpoint that I'm not concerned about first I'm not a DSA er. I denounce socialism. It is interesting. President Trump, as we sit here right now, is meeting with someone that many around the table call a DSAer. He's meeting with the mayor Mandami at Gracie Mansion, which I think is a very positive thing. I don't say that critically. But if you look at the Look at the people that are running this time in the House. You have seven DSA members running, people who've identified with the DSA. Now for Democrats to win a majority they have to win two hundred and eighteen seats.
If they win a majority It probably won a few more than that. So it's just round up to 220. So out of s seven or eight would be that this round up to ten. That means you'd have two hundred and ten Democrats, but not be. I would remind everybody around the table when the Tea Party, which was a dominant force and a positive force for the Republicans to gain seats back in 2010, 35 self-identified Tea Partiers won in the House. That number won't won't be the case here in the House this time with Democrats. In fact, for Democrats to win the House, the thing that encourages me most is that it will likely not likely, it will absolutely be because moderate Dems win. The DSAers that are running, many of them have defeated Democrats in primaries that were incumbents that they that many thought had not gone fur further enough left.
So if you look at the overwhelming majority of Democrats running in the House, most of them, if not the The overwhelming majority of them are Democrats who lean more towards my politics than they do the DSA. Now, having said that, uh, I've said on this show many times, and I will continue to say, if we don't win in November Democrats, win a majority in the House and the Senate, we will have ourselves to blame for not distancing ourselves enough from the Hassan Pikers. Enough from those who wanted to fund the police, enough from those who want to zero out funding for ICE instead of reforming it, and certainly for those who want to not have a United States Senate or a United States Supreme Court.
