But imagine if he had said, wouldn't it be great if only for two years only men could vote? Or if only men drove. But see, there's a cost to saying that. There's no cost for this kind of sexism because it travels in the approved direction. But it's really not sexist to men. It's sexist to women because It's meant to calm their distress, to make them feel better. We don't need that. Apparently, he believes women need that. You know, it kind of provides comfort to liberals, a therapy dog for people whose ideas never pan out in reality because they exist in fantasy land like this one about if women were in charge for two years.
Could you imagine the state of the union? It would take it'd be two hours long. And it would be out it would be about something you did five years ago. The Pentagon budget would need millions just for little black dresses to you that you can wear to more than just one conflict. But okay, the real corollary here is Put one sex in charge of a high-stakes institution that's normally male-coded. So the actual corollary to that would be: what if you put men in charge of a domain that we assume is female-coded? That's a really interesting exercise. Let's put men in charge of K-12 schools. HR departments, family courts. Do that for two years. You would reduce reliance on emotions and process. Do you think we would actually have uh drag queens in school libraries if men were in charge?
Or trans and women's sports if dudes were in charge. School walkouts over politics would never happen. They would never happen. Social work would be no social, all work. HR would be a sign on the wall with 10 rules. Interior design, we'd actually have chairs. No more stupid pillows. If men ran interior design, there would be no pillows anywhere. Anywhere. And like Libraries. If there was some pervert in there looking at porn, he'd be shot on site. But like I'm all for this.
