Many of them went on to be very valuable members of Congress, and many of them wound up not staying.

Uh well, I like the New York Post headline there, unmasked. That was good. That's classic New York Post. Uh no, it is uh it is kind of amazing. Um I you know, I think m uh it's fair that we're talking so much about Zoran Mamdani, because Zoran Mamdani is sort of the leader of this left flank of the Democrat Party. And whether they like it or not, whether Harold likes it or not, they are the uh where all the energy is in the party. And you have a guy who Who is uh very successfully made things like Palestine uh the centerpiece of the party's agenda when you have him as mayor of New York City threatening to uh arrest uh Bibi Netanyahu when he comes to the UN. What in the world does any of that have to do with running the city of New York?
And I don't think that uh I don't think that it it uh ends up. Well in the long term, but for right now, it's a problem that the uh Democrats are are gonna have to uh grapple with within the party. And then you have somebody like Congresswoman Madeline Dean talking about how, oh, this is not that big of a deal. They're going to moderate themselves. Well, the problem with that is, and I do think that this is kind of part of the strategy of uh in as much as there is strategy in all of this chaos. You know, w when you have these people running we you from the DSA running in the Democrat Party. They and they throw out all of these crazy ideas, and then you wind up backing up to Medica Medicare for all is your fallback position that seems sane all of a sudden.
Well, that's not a sane position. That's actually that that's socialized medicine, government-run medicine. And I do think that that uh the smarter people in the Democrat Party who are not necessarily the uh the people that are ginning up all the time.
