Welcome to the Hauraki Big Show with Jason Hoyt.
Oh, g'day, you mad bastards. Great to have your company this Friday afternoon. It is the 29th of May, 2026, and you, your backbones, are listening to the big show brought to you by Toledo's.

Toledo!
G'day, Mogi, you absolute stallion. How the hell's life? Going pretty grouse, you mad dog, you sick son of a bee. I'm excited about this weekend, man. Long weekend. We've had a few. It feels like we're getting a long weekend every other weekend, one way or the other. Yeah. I'm not complaining, man.
But absolutely thrilled to be here today, especially because we're on the verge of another throbber. Yeah, totally. I got a throbber brewing. It's kind of what? That's fine, man. Okay, cool. Cheers. Hiya. I'm good, thanks, man. How are you? That's good. Keezy. Keezy. What's up? It's a big day, isn't it, on the big show? Not really. We've got an amazing prize to give away, don't we?
Oh, that's right.
Hey, fellas. That's right. Are you referring to the street dog electric motorcycle that we are giving away? No, the Hira Hubby. $500 voucher. And that as well. But mainly up next, we're going to be giving away the first of the two electric motorcycles courtesy of Street Dog. Holy heck.

Chapter 2: What exciting prize is being given away on the show?
I'm telling you, you haven't heard that from us. We always say, leave your phones on. Yeah, turn it off afterwards.
Imagine if you were just tootooing around and you turned your phone off and then you saw missed call.
Yeah.
And then it was like, oh!
An amazing street dog electric motorbike. I've got a question for you, Jizz. Yes? When was the last time you turned your phone off? Deliberately. I can't turn my phone off. Why not? I don't know, man. It just doesn't turn off. Right, okay. Yeah, yeah. We've also got throbbers coming up. We've got a Hire a Hubby winner, $500 voucher, plus a $100 voucher as well, potentially.
We've got so many great yarns, I don't know what to do with myself. So stay tuned. We've also got fat beets, Mel. Oh, and fat beets. I forgot about those. So for God's sake, don't turn your radio off, okay? Here's Linkin Park.
The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from 4 on Radio Hauraki. The Sons of Hauraki. Gotta live this life. Let's see who wants to ride with the street dogs.
Yes, indeed. Today's the day, fellas. One of the days. Someone's going to join the Hauraki gang and win themselves a brand spanking new street dog electric motorbike. That's right. FTN Motion making it all possible. They're made right here in New Zealand. That's a huge part of it, I think. The whole thing is made here in New Zealand. This is a New Zealand-owned company, Absolute Backbones.
And these bikes, if you haven't seen them, have a Google. Don't do it now. Keep your phone free, for God's sake. Taste it afterwards, give them a Google, have a look, and tell me these bikes aren't bloody beautiful. There's two options to choose from. One, if you've got a motorbike license, the XR. What is it called? Sorry, it's the Street Dog XR.

Chapter 3: How do the hosts feel about the upcoming long weekend?
Oh, cool. It rules. And as I say, it's a classic cafe racer design. Very cool looking electric motorcycle. I've ridden it. It's uncanny. Like the acceleration and the fact that it's silent freaks me out. Can I say they're sexy?
Yes.
They're sexy, man. They are sexy, man. So should we do it, fellas? Should we call someone? Someone. Absolutely there, fellas. Just out of curiosity, what colour would you go for if you had to choose? Black. Probably yellow, like the Toledo's logo. Right. You could probably actually get the Toledo's logo put on it if you wanted to. I mean, that's the idea. Is that true? That better be true. 100%.
Okay, sweet. All right. So I'm just punching in the number here. Fellas, are you ready to go?
Yeah, let's do this.
All right, let's do it. Who is it? I hope they answer. Oh, God. Come on, man. Hello? G'day. Is that Kane, is it?
Oh, it sure is. Oh, g'day, Cain, you mad bastard.
It's Hoity, Jay, Mogie and Keezy from The Big Show. How are you, you backbones? Yeah, good, Cain. How are you, mate?
Oh, I'm bloody good now, hearing your voice, you sexy stallion, you.

Chapter 4: What makes the Street Dog motorcycles special?
Damn, we should have actually lined up.
How bloody. Yeah, we should have done that.
That's got to make your long weekend, surely, Cain.
Oh, it's already made, boys. Thank you. How bloody good. I just had someone walk into the shop and I told them to hold on.
I'm about to win a motorbike and it's actually gold. LAUGHTER Do you have your motorcycle license, man, or nah?
My old man does, so I was going to gift it to him.
Oh, that's a good idea. That's a good idea. Wow. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, do that, Kane, and then go get your motorbike license as well, mate. It's a bloody good idea. Also, I've just seen here you live on the Port Hills in Christchurch there. It'd be pretty good taking it around the old hills of the Port Hills.
Oh, mate, it's a stellar spot. I can't wait.
Yeah, it's going to be good, Cain. Good on you, mate.

Chapter 5: What are the hosts' thoughts on the King's Birthday weekend?
I was like, oh. How long did you spend doing that, Chase? Oh, 45 minutes? Yeah. Whatever, but it was like a minute and then gave up. Well, actually, my wife took over because I was effing and jeffing. Did she do it? That was my next question. No, she didn't. She was like, I don't know what it's doing here. Get your daughter to do it. Yeah, good plan.
So what I ended up watching at the end of the night, I finished off the brilliant series Flowers. Now, TVNZ Plus, what I will say about this, which I haven't banged on enough about, is yes, it's a brilliantly written show, but every one of the main actors in that show is brilliant. Right. All of their performances, there's not one weak link. They're all brilliant.
And the guy that wrote it and directed it, It's probably the most outstanding of them all, and at the end of it, it's a real oof. It's a real stomach punch. It's like, oh, man. I love that in a comedy. Man. Beautiful. Great. I'm upgrading it from a 4.9 buzzies to a full five. All right.
Five buzzies out of five.
I'm watching it. Flowers on TVNZ+. There you go. After five o'clock, fellas, the Friday throbber, and of course it's King's birthday, so the theme is the King. Oh, Jase, have you forgotten? No, no. We'll talk about this. We'll talk about this after five.
The Hodaki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hodaki. It's the Horegi Big Show's Friday Thrower. Doge Doge. Yay. The Friday Throbber. What's that, I hear you ask? Well, the fellas on a Friday afternoon, we each choose a tune to kick off your Friday celebrations.
Get you in the mood, eh, fellas?
Yes.
Especially important today because it's a long weekend. Yeah, boy. The long weekend, of course, being King's birthday, so today's theme is King's birthday. Yeah. So, Jase, when I said just before 5 o'clock that the King's birthday themed throbber was coming up, you made a weird face. Did I? Like a face like you didn't realise it was themed again. Don't know what you're talking about, Keezy.
