R Y O E Rushing yards over expected. Uh EPA per play. Expected Points added. Okay. Right? And D V OA. Which is I don't know what it means. Um I didn't write it down, but I wrote down how efficient was the play compared with the NFL average accounting for opponent, right? Okay. I just I'm fascinated by this. I probably should have looked at it years ago, but it's just it's not an easy thing to explain on the radio. It's it's it on TV, you know, you can put graphics up and show things. So I I kinda always stayed away from it. But there's some interesting numbers. Oh
yeah, no, and what you just went over is new. That stuff's not that's a good thing. Yeah, a couple years. The younger the younger list. The younger the younger listeners.
I'm still kind of old school. I go to yards per carry, yards per game, rankings amongst uh teams in the National Football League. That's that's the way I look at it.
Yards after contact. I mean, those are things that have been time tested. And easy to understand.
That's essentially what RYOEs, the run yards overexpected is what does the running back do beyond what the blockers did? W we gave him something, what does he do with it? I I thought it was fascinating, but I I had heard A lot of people, both you know, on the national level and and here in the building talking about.
Because the number that you're talking about there, okay, yards overexpected. Right. That that is a completely subjective. Subjective stat. Right. And that's the one of the reasons why I kinda have a hard time with some of those. Well,
