Do you know what? This time last year, no. But in all honesty, am I pinching myself? Also no, because since the bye week... It's been looking like this. They've been looking like a team that is going to win. And I totally believe seven in a race. In fact, interestingly, since about the Chargers game, which is going to probably where we're going to end up in a few weeks.

This time last year, Jay and I are talking a lot about how the Jaguars, every game, were losing in close games and finding a way to lose. This week, against the Colts, it felt like even though the Jags didn't play their best, they found a way to win. And that feels like a big difference this season.
Without a doubt. And you said at the beginning, right, seven games in a row. Yeah. Right. I didn't miss that. That's correct. Right. That's correct. Just make sure. Yeah. You know how hard that is.

Chapter 2: How did the Jaguars manage to win against the Colts?
You've got to score. So when you get down there, you've got condensed space. Defenses play you differently. You cannot make mistakes, period, because you can cause turnovers that lose you points. And you missed opportunities. So you've got to finish the play in the red area. And that's why they've got to be on the field. They have been.

so jason you've nailed that for me so one of the things i was going to say was one of the things they're getting right in the red zone is so there were two running touchdowns from trevor one of them was a design play and one of them he read so that's that's working what what are the bits for you that that actually specifically need to be looked at to be tightened up in the red zone
Well, I think what you said is key. So philosophically, why he needs to be able to take off is this. When you are that threat that you can run, right? See, in the red area, it's tight. So if everything's covered up, the only way a zone coverage can break down is time. So movement breaks it down. So while he's moving around, he continues to look for an opening.
And if he doesn't, now people have to come out of coverage. So if they come out of coverage, you dump it over their head into the vacated zone. If they stay in coverage, you run it in. It's purely that. But his whole issue is sometimes at that moment, that precipice of decision making, he makes a mistake.
And it's just being calm in that and not trying to force it because he's going to dictate exactly how the defense is going to react because they do not want him to run it in.
Okay, so you know the turnover in the red zone, the interception in the red zone. Talk me through that one because... I've heard several different ways of looking at it. What's your take on that? Tell me what you've heard. I've heard two things. I've heard bad decision. Shouldn't have thrown it in that direction. And secondly, I've heard bad throw. I think it was a bad throw.
I'm not sure it was a bad decision. I look at it. I look at that and think that was a bad throw.

Chapter 3: Who stood out as the MVP for the Jaguars in the Colts game?

Chapter 4: What improvements do the Jaguars need to make before the playoffs?
But, you know, Jags beat the Chargers already this season, in that case.

jason does the divisional match up in the playoffs make it is it does that feel different to playing any other team yeah it's more intense but you know yeah yeah it does i've done that i played philly in the playoffs in the wild card before after we had played them twice and yeah it was different it was it was a there was an emotional step up for sure For sure.
And how much you take into account those... I'm telling you, the energy that comes in the playoffs, man, it is real. It is real. You get out on that field, you start warming up, and you're like, oh, my God. You just can feel it. It's faster, too. I can't... Literally, it gets faster. Dudes are flying around. It is win or go home. People are laying it on the line.
That's why the tournament's so fun.
What I want to touch upon as well is the fact that, in fact, you can answer me this, J-Bell, because the Jacksonville Jaguars fans here in the UK over the last few years haven't had a whole lot to cheer about ever since the championship game, of course, a few years ago, really. But the Jags are in a different spot.
They feel like they're in a different spot, even compared to when they made the playoffs with Trevor Lawrence a few years ago as well. As a fan, do you encourage people, do you encourage, you know, British fans right now to get on board and savour it and enjoy it or to not get ahead of yourself?
Fans can always get ahead of themselves, you know. And, you know, fans are different than players, right? You need to embrace the victories, the celebration, like... Take it all in. Take it all in, as you should, each week. Ride it all the way to the next game. Because really, you don't have to worry about anything until you sit down and watch the game.
