Hi.
Welcome to the show.
That's so easy. What an easy intro. Yeah,
I'm trying to make it easy. Nice, quick, easy. I used to do big intros. I was like, let's just start talking.
I like it. How
are you?
I'm good. I'm good. I'm good for being up since five in the morning, but totally worse. I flew here. I flew here to see you.
Well, that means the world to me. And it is our first time meeting. So thank you. Um I selfishly just want to get to know you better. I know we were speaking a little bit off camera before, but before we dive in, just who are you? Where are you? I know you're from New Jersey. From New Jersey. That's a b
that's a big part of my personality. Which I love. Yeah. And it's it's funny because now my entire immediate family, like my my parents, my brother, his family, all live in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
Okay.
And so when people are like, Where's your family? I'm like Hilton Head, South Carolina. That's not where I'm from. Because I feel like that doesn't make sense. As soon as I say I'm from Jersey, I've I feel like I make way more sense.
Yes, yes. The picture all sort of selects. You would say South Carolina be that's not who where you're from.
No.
You would stand out in South Mouse.
Yeah. I do when I go visit them. Do you
like
it? I well listen, Hilton Head is a resort town. Oh like once I'm there, it's it's an island. I'm just I'm living island life when I'm there. It's great.
Yeah.
Yeah. But it's a pain in the ass to get there from especially from LA because there's no direct flights.
Yeah, yeah. So I'm
always having a layover. Sometimes in Dallas.
Okay. Yeah. Well now next time you're here. I know. Come on over. Yeah. I love it. So well, you love it now because it's nap time. So it's very quiet in the house. You came at like that like just that perfect time frame. Any other time it would have been chaos. You'll see when we're when we're done recording.
Can't wait.
So you grew up in New Jersey. Yeah. What was your childhood like?
I'm honestly awesome. Like I
love that.
I'm not someone who comes from like a lot of trauma or whatever. My family's my family all loves each other. My parents are awesome. Um They're still together? Yeah, they're still together. I know, right? They still like each other, uh, supposedly. Um, but I I grew up I grew up in in Hudderton County, which is central Jersey for people who don't believe central Jersey exists.
