I'm joined with Matthew Snyder. Matt, you're fresh off the conveyor belt of Legacy Maker episodes. You are officially a Legacy Maker. How do you feel? Grateful. You just had an amazing session with Jason, Jason Hamilton. I got to drop his name. We were very proud of what we do here.
What challenges did Matthew face while rebuilding his life and business?
50% is the process of getting on board, casting. You get here to Miami, you walk through a creepy haunted halls because it's an old Miami building. And then you sit down, you've got all these cameras and you're, you're being asked all these questions. And how do you feel in that moment? I feel great. Right. I feel absolutely fantastic. And I'll tell you why. Why is that in there?
How does Matthew define fighting your inner Goliath?
With a unbelievable, painful apprenticeship, I know that I have a powerful anointing. And with that being said, whatever comes up, let's roll. Get your big girl panties, pull them up, pull up those bootstraps, and let's hit it. And let's hit it as hard as possible because it's not about you. It's about the King. It's about Christ. It's about His glory. And the more you glorify Him, the more He'll glorify you. And I made a decision when he made it clear, hey, Matthew, why don't you get off the throne and get on the cross and take me off the cross and put me back on the throne because I'm alive. And when he said that, oh boy, the paradigm shift, the world changed and the submission became more significant than ever at the age of 49, knowing him since March 27th in 1997 when he saved my life.
So I love it. I think it's amazing because I'm doing his work and I'm able to plant a seed in somebody's heart And it's up to him to figure it out, because I don't know what the end game is. Because if he told me the end game, we wouldn't need him. Dead serious about it. I hear you 100%. I'm eager to learn. When you were born again, when you were saved? 1997. What happened in 1997? So I decided to break the law and play in a game of drugs and criminal behavior and nonsense that cost me my freedom for a short period of time at the age of 19, which in fact showed my parents who were so devoted to making sure we had all the utensils necessary to become successful, I let down and prove them that I'm a screw up.
So After I met the Lord and got on my knees and submitted my life to Him, it was a transformation overnight. It was unbelievable. And the first several four or five years was the toughest because I'm accustomed of the world. Now I'm learning in the milk of the word to try and live true submission under his word. And that's when the fear sets in and the reciprocal of faith. And that's when doubt sets in. And that's when you truly have to really get into the word because faith cometh by hearing, hearing cometh by the word of God.
