What inspired Holly Lemoine-Raymond to start her real estate journey?
I'm in real estate, for God's sakes, with people working with me or people I'm dealing with, it never goes right. But like, you know, believing in yourself and knowing that you have the answers and they didn't say yes to me, I created yes. Holly Lemoine Raymond is a bold, creative real estate visionary and the founder of HL Raymond Properties. Drawing from her journey through personal loss, reinvention and entrepreneurship, she transforms unconventional spaces into meaningful experiences while inspiring others to lead with resilience, creativity and confidence. Words for advice is really love what you do. Make sure that what you're doing is really what your passion is and you're doing it for you.
And you're gonna make mistakes and you're gonna fail. And what you do with that failure is really gonna make you who you are. A lot of people don't know my vision and don't believe in my vision, but don't let that defeat you either because your vision is what your company's made of and not everybody's gonna be in your tribe. They may not get it, you know?
How did Holly overcome rejection in her career?
And that's okay. What I've done is something unique. I have.
It spans the globe like a super high school internet. Today, Apple is going to reinvent the bomb. It's not over until I win. The Living Your Legacy podcast for those who live to leave a legacy. That's extraordinary. The impossible. Oh, that is sensational.
What role does journaling play in Holly's success?
Jordan.
You can live
Welcome to another episode of the Living Your Legacy podcast. For Inside Success, I am Ray Gutierrez. Joining me today is a powerful woman, even though she's doubting herself. Woman doubting. When she introduced herself, all I heard was, Holly, Raymond. So Holly, Raymond, how are you? Welcome. Thank you. You're fresh off the Women Empower Conveyor Belt. We just filmed your episode.
Yes.
How do you feel?
I feel good.
How does Holly define success in her business?
I feel good. I was a little teary-eyed. I'm not used to talking about myself, per se, or my journey, because, like, who does that? Like, who does?
Everyone, apparently, on the internet does that now.
Oh, no, I get it. But, like, to me, it's just not natural. I like talking about things and other people and how to make other people successful. So it's difficult hearing your journey, because you don't really think about your journey. You just do your journey. Just do the thing. Just do it. Yes.
Mr. Nike was right. I don't even know if Mr. Nike is a real person.
What challenges did Holly face during the COVID-19 pandemic?
But you are, and you're sitting in this chair. So how do you feel? I hope you feel like you belong here. Oh, I do. I feel good. Great. That's a good start.
You guys have been great. It's been from the start. I mean, I'm a super busy person, and to come down here, it was worth it. It was fun to experience that. I actually needed it.
So it was good. Great. Do you have your stack of papers?
How does Holly maintain a positive mindset amidst challenges?
I kind of want to...
was for all of our visual my plane ticket too i gotta make sure i make my flight as well ma'am do you do realize there's apps for this right everything i look i am a multi-purpose like a woman in business like a woman in power and business need to papers on the mic in case you're on the drive to work yeah these are i got it all what are all these notes what is this this is just me making sure i'm on time okay making sure that i uh make sure that i don't forget who i am how
But is it the tactile? Is it you're writing it down? Why the paper?
Okay, because really, honestly, since I was young, I've always had a journal. So the journal is really something that I've always had, and I'm used to writing stuff at all times. So I'm either speaking into something or I am writing it down. I always have thoughts, so I'm always writing it down, and I don't want to forget what I'm writing. And I love to create stuff. So I've got something coming up in a production. So every time I do something, I write it down so I won't forget it. So, yeah.
Well, you say production. What kind of production is this?
What advice does Holly give to aspiring real estate professionals?
I'm actually, I did a production for my company. I worked with HGTV for a bit. Right on. And I did a lot of their stuff, like their Bistrom Bargain Hut, You Live in What.
