What plans do Jared and Jordana have for Fourth of July weekend?
when we come to your place on the fourth.
I have been thinking of like what the other.
What will we do if there's no alcohol?
Right.
And you can have as many drinks as you want. I'm game to sit out at a pool, but then what if it rains? The fear of any trip. We'll have to play some games. We got to find some. I'll come with games in mind. You have games?
We have a lot of big games.
Do we have a pool game?
I'll have to think of it. Marco Polo? Hello, and welcome back to the Friday Feels episode of the UF Podcast. I'm Jordana Abraham.
And I am Jared Freed. So good to be back here with you, Jordana. Happy 4th of July, the 250th year of our great country.
Wow. 250. Happy birthday, America. Happy birthday. I love it. I've already got my baby July 4th outfits. Regalia. Yes. Even Ron has a little handkerchief. A little chief.
What funny story does Jared share about a wedding guest?
Yeah. On Ronnie. On Ronnie. I'm going to have to think of what I'm going to wear. My big Uncle Sam top hat. There you go. 250 years. We did it. We did it. We're here. We still are. They said it never was going to happen, and now we're here. America. I think this is a great single day, great single weekend. Oh, yeah. This is the weekend. It's fun. It's like multi-days. Go to a party. Multiple days. Go to a party. Go hang with friends. This is the time to, I would say, first and foremost, it's not about meeting someone new. It's about letting the people in your life know that you're out there. I'm looking. Right. I'm single. Look how fun I am. Look at this is you. And again, your married friends, your relationship friends, they're judging whether they want to hang out with you and whoever you end up with.
That's true. Do we need this? We want this. You think this miserable sack is going to be made any better from a boyfriend or a girlfriend?
No. Yeah, well, I mean, it's interesting because it's like when you're single, it's just like there's only... And you meet up with a friend. It's you and the friend.
Right.
When you're in a couple, you have to figure out if the couple energy is there.
Totally. And again, it's like with flying. I always take the first flight out to get rid of variables. Right. So if you're miserable... whoever you end up with is going to be a miserable head. That's true. So one of the variables is gone.
Not only though, sometimes one is cool and the other one is not, and you're like, how did this happen?
Totally. But I don't think you hang out with them retrospectively. If you're in front of it with the single friend who's like, hey, I'm coming over, I'm bringing over... some champagne for the 4th of July. Let's celebrate 250. You're like, this person, whoever they end up with is going to be great because they're great. You would hope. You would hope. Not always the case. Yeah, not always, but that's the, who gets fixed up in that scenario?
Right.
You know, is it the person with sparklers on the 4th and like, let's, you know, play the game and let's do the, you know, the fun pool game and let's do the, you know, the 4th of July stupidity.
Is sending a hotter guy to pick up your stuff after a breakup petty or genius?
Let me take a hot dog and eat it without chewing. You know, like all that shit. Yeah. You know, like you go, that's the person I'm thinking of when I hear I got a single friend. The 4th of July offers events and parties everywhere. Go. I know maybe. I mean, honestly, if we have to force you to go, maybe. Yeah. I don't know. You a hot dog guy? Hamburger guy? Love a hot dog. You're more a hot dog? I'm more a hot dog guy than a hamburger guy. Okay. I'm more a spicy Italian sausage with onions and peppers guy.
I am excited for you to come stay then. That is Mike's jam.
Oh, that is my favorite thing in the world. Get excited. The smell of a hot Italian sausage. With onions and peppers. That to me is an aphrodisiac.
That is like Mike's go-to.
Really? Yeah. Oh my God, that is.
Get excited for a weekend of those.
Oh, I'll have 80 of them. That's like, you know when they have like Yogi Bear smelling something and he's floating? That would be the smell that would get me to float.
Amazing. Well, you know what? My house is ready for you.
I'm ready.
I have to tell you something, though, is that the room that you're in has two beds, in case you and Emily have not consummated the relationship.
