What is the Friday Feels intro and the hosts’ fall challenge?
Hello, and welcome back to the Friday Feels episode of the UA podcast. I'm Jordana Abraham.
I am Jared Freed. It is so good to be back here with you, Jordana. How are you? What's going on? Uh what's the haps? What's the deal? We're we're dressed alive.
We're twins, twinsies. Not planned. Yes, unplanned twinning. I love it. I will I almost wore jeans, and I think that would have been like extra special.
I mean, it really would have been. I mean, we're kind of I mean, we're
kinda going to like a dinner tonight in your honor for the special, which is like a change. It would have been no it would have been very funny if I wore jeans too and
That's what they say. That's what they say. I
I think they do say that. Um how what's going on? What's going on with me? We're we're in fall. We're in it. Yeah. Feeling good.
We're in fall. I'm feeling good. I'm feeling a little I I I did fall asleep a little bit on the um on the train this morning, um, which I haven't done ever before. The worst of sleeps.
Yeah. The do you think uh rake the sleeps?
Usually that's har hard
sleep is number one. Oh, we're going
we're going from best to worst.
Yeah, best sleep.
Your home bed.
Your home bed.
With your home sheets and your home temperature.
Okay.
Number one. If it's not number one, you need to use one of the sponsors that we've had in the many. Figure out your take a day. Yeah.
Okay. Get creative. Time time to figure out your your layer.
Yes. Number two sleep is um five star hotel sleep.
Four seasons. If you're out of four seasons, you're having a great sleep. It's a number two sleep. That's number two. It can inch into number one because you're away. Right. So that kind of adds to it, I would actually say busy day. It's a busy day. Five star resort, five PM after a day on the beach.
Yes.
That's like a nap after that. That would like take me to a level beyond my own bed, but again, these things are movable.
Yes. I was number
three sleep.
All other hotel.
All other hotel. Decent hotel decent hotel.
Hotel bed.
Courtyard Marriott and above.
Yeah. Fine. We're okay. Then we're moving into the territory of I mean, you you would know uh you fly a lot more and you fly Delta One a lot more. Who how would you rank w that? Was that after the hotel sleep?
I would say after those sleeps, I would say falling asleep on a beach chair.
You're able to do
an umbrella. I get like a three minute out of that.
Okay.
That like does feel great. Mike can do that too.
How do Jordana and Jared rank different types of sleep?
On a massage table. Towards the end of the massage. No, but then
I always feel guilty because I'm like I wasted the massage time sleeping and I didn't you know, get to saber it. Right. So I I I that is a good sleep. Oh I do acupuncture. That's a really good sleep. I think I need to do that. I love it. I don't even know if it works, but it's just a great like Forty five minutes kind of just like I can't use my phone and I'm lying there and I always fall asleep and that is a that is a deep sleep.
Are we at a point where phone addiction is worse than cigarette addiction? Definitely. We are doing things to not do the phone. Like I I I was trying out a joke about it. I'm like I'm s I'm doing better about my phone addiction because now I don't look at it in the shower. And like you do have the win of like, I'm taking a shower, put it down over there. Right. I'll get back to it after I do my bathroom things. Like no one did that with a cigarette.
Like there was no Well, there were some rules around a cigarette. Right.
Right. That but I'm saying like even the rules around a cigarette that you did for yourself, I only have it at lunch and then at the end of the day. Right. It wasn't like I can't be without my cigarette in my pocket or else I'll have a crumble.
Yes. Or I'll go into withdrawal. Yeah. I
mean, my dad, we went on a family vacation, he lost it on the golf course.
Oh wow.
It ended the day.
Even for a boomer, I feel like they're less addicted than we are.
He's less addicted, but like, what do we do with him at that point? Phone less guy that he's well then it's your problem. Now it's all of our problem. It's
your problem with you're with someone with with a dead phone or no phone because now you can't be on your phone because then they're just then you seem ruder.
