All right, so now we're gonna come to our lightning round section of the interview, and I'm gonna be throwing out some more short form questions at you. And these ones will have their own kind of theme to it, and then you can kind of riff on, you know, whatever the question is. So the first one is gonna be trend or trash. Is using AI multilanguage content generation for international SEO.

What are the current limitations of AI‑only translation for international SEO?

Tyson Stockton 1:08
So all by itself without human intervention, trend or trash.
Sebastien Edgar 1:13
Oh, without y human intervention intervention. Okay. Ah I gotta say trash. I got to.
Tyson Stockton 1:20
Do you see a world in which you would feel comfortable in walking away from that human element? Like I feel like we touched on in the conversation that the gap is narrowing. Yeah. But like do you think it'll ever get to that hundred percent point?
Sebastien Edgar 1:34
That's a really that's a really good question. I mean, I'm a I'm a manual transmission car guy, so I think I'm the wrong I have deep biases toward trying to control your machine. It it has to come. I mean, if I'm being honest, it it has to come.

Why do AI‑generated translations still produce hallucinations and errors?

Sebastien Edgar 1:48
AI is only gonna it's only gonna get better. We see the the the differences in just in one year and in six months. It has to get better, but it's it is far from perfect. The hallucinations. Okay, maybe this is where this is where the the disparity is. People think it's fantastic and great, but a lot of people forget to review what these large language models come up with. Once you do review, You notice there is a lot of hallucinations. There are a lot of problems, and the output is not great. Even like I I use Chat GPT plus and whatnot just to review a lot of things, like summarize and whatnot. I have to do a lot of editing. Like it's great, don't get me wrong.

How much human review is still required to ensure quality multilingual content?

Sebastien Edgar 2:34
I save a bunch of time. But at the same time, it's there's work that comes from that for sure. And so I would say right now. 100% human intervention. Like it's like not even a discussion. If we're talking in 10 years, I mean who am I kidding? 10 years. If we're talking about it in two years from now, you'll still need human intervention. But yeah, it's it's closing quite well. And I'm sure, depending on the prompts, I'm sure you'll you'll be able to put in like more parameters, the more information it gets from its training library. And then there'll be it'll probably get personal information. As well. I mean, who knows when we're going to get to that, which is a little bit scary.

What improvements can we expect in AI translation quality over the next few years?

Sebastien Edgar 3:11
Then it'll know how to personalize content based on you and your tone, depending on the documents that you give, that you give access, like Google Drive and whatnot. It's and Meta, for example, is Meta or Agrok and whatnot. Agroc is using like X, Twitter for training, Meta, Llama is using like Facebook. So it's learning your tone and whatnot. So maybe you get to a point where it's like they're able to hyper-personalize. Most likely it's gonna happen.

Time for a one-minute break to hear from our sponsor, Previsible. So you're looking for SEO help, then you got a couple of options. You could start replying to spam from agencies that claim they can get you to rank number one on Google. You can pay an hourly rate for a consultant who will inevitably nickel and dime you with hourly charges, or you can work with a cookie cutter agency to quickly launch a strategy-less project with low success rate. None of those sound very good. Now do they? Well, that's where Previsible's integrated consulting model comes in.

Can AI eventually personalize content tone and style for each market?

Unknown 4:09
Previsible draws from a collective 40 years of SEO and digital marketing experience to unlock your organic growth opportunities.
