In here We pour whisk, whisk, whisk, whisk, whisk. You're that creature in the ginger beard! Sturdy and ginger. Like vapors, the ginger jean is a curse. Gingers are beautiful. You owe me $5 for the whiskey and $75 for the horse. Gingers, oh hell no. This whiskey is excellent. Ginger. I
like
gingers.
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to Whiskey Jinner. My guest today is one of my favorite people on earth. I say I'm all my guest my meeting once again today. It's Max Amini. The guy has a name built for entertainment. It's Maximini on the podcast. Thank you for coming to the show.
Thanks for having me. You're the man, dude. One of my favorite comedians.
I've known you for so long. It's so funny. And to see your your rise has been um It's hard to say without sounding condescending, but I'm proud proud, happy for some people. There's some people that you go, good Some people blow up and you go, bad. Some people blow up you go, Good dude. He's the man.
Yeah.
I love to see that, dude. Thanks, buddy. Life is good right now for you.
Life is g life is good. I'm always an optimistic person. I'm always happy. I'm not I'm not the depressing s I mean y you know, you you're down, but I'm not the guy Who likes to complain? I'm always grateful in that sense. I was grateful when I played two hundred seater you know theaters. I'm grateful now playing these arenas. I'm happy for for what's happening, but I gotta tell you, and you understand this, um Everything that we we dream for is it's not as easy as it looks from the outside. So so it's it's a lot of work that goes. It's a lot of work. You put in a
lot of work. You've been in the game for how many years? Uh seventy four, right?
Twenty four years. Twenty four years you've been in the game.
And you're what and you're sixteen years old. How
old are you now? I'm sixteen.
Is the next man rife? This answer.
Listen, I'm the youngest forty four. That's how I feel. You are. I I really honestly feel thirty two years old, max.
But your audience, what's the age range of your audience? Like do you find that you're getting people in their forties? And
above? The bulk of it is twenty five to thirty five. That's a good number. Bulk of it. That's bulk of it is twenty five to thirty five. I have um and and the age range has changed. Um my audience has changed so much, Andrew, in the last two years. It's unbelievable.
Oh really?
Yeah.
What a lot of fat people, a lot of skinny people? What
are
we talking
about? All good looking. Sexy. You do have sexy people, you're so sure you come to my show. The women. I'm not looking at the guys so much. Right. But I tell you the women looking good. No Persian women. No Persian women. A lot of Persian women. A lot of Persian women. A lot of beautiful Persian women. I would say today all my Persian audience still comes, shows up to the theater, but the capacity has changed so much, now they make maybe ten percent of the audience. Wow. But they're all there. But it used to be the core. It we used to be like ninety percent Persian. And the ten percent was the husband, the boyfriend, and the girlfriend. Yeah. So
was it mostly the girlfriends that brought the boyfriends? 'Cause the girlfriends were attracted to you? Yep, yep. Boyfriends hated you. They were like this sexy. We gotta go see this sexy dude. The girlfriend sold it as we gotta go see this very funny guy. And then the guy show up, they go, This motherfucker. Yeah. I know this piece of shit. Okay, fine. I
laugh for two minutes. Yeah, I will laugh at him, but you will go
home with me. Yep, yep. But that's great, dude. You're and you're you're killing. You said you're going before the show we started, you said you're going to premiere of a movie tonight.
