Chairwoman Day 3:01
Morning. The uh November nineteenth, two thousand twenty five meeting of the Fairfax County Board of Zoning Appeals will please come to order. Um Are there any matters to be presented by members? I just would like to let everyone know that I just heard um that our past chair, Mr. Ribble, passed away um a couple days ago. And so it's as I was Mr Krasner was saying, it's like the the end of an error. So um I hope that we will keep he and his family, you know, close to us, um, as we go through Thanksgiving season. He did a lot for the county and um Anyway, if there's nothing else we'll go ahead and review our procedures for those of you who have not been here before. When your case is called, please step up front to the microphone.
Chairwoman Day 4:00
I'll ask if anyone who wishes to speak to that particular case would stand, raise your right hand and face the clerk. um which is on your left, to take an oath. Once that's done, the applicant will be asked to state their name and address for the record and whether or not they reaffirm the affidavit um that they previously submitted. The applicant will then be asked to have a seat in the front row. Um While we get a location and report from staff. Once we've heard the staff report, the applicant will have up to ten minutes to give their justification for whatever it is they are seeking today. The limit's ten minutes because we do have uh these detailed staff reports um which contain the initial justification in them.
Chairwoman Day 4:54
But the applicant should feel free to add to that if they would like to do so. I'll then ask if there's anyone who would like to speak to the application. If you've not already signed up to speak, please do. You know, do so with the clerk here on your left. Each individual speaker will have up to um Three minutes to speak. But if you represent a citizens association, you'll be given up to five minutes. If there's speakers in opposition to the application, the applicant or the applicant's agent will have five minutes of rebuttal time. Once uh you've spoken You cannot do so again, come back to speak unless you're asked by a member of this board. With that said, we have a couple of administrative items to call before we get to the public hearing portion of the agenda.
Chairwoman Day 5:50
Um first we have Mitab Savari and My Little Stars LLC in SP two thousand twenty four dash SU dash zero zero zero six four. which I see is being deferred indefinitely.
Brent Krasner 6:07
That that's correct. Brent Krasner from the Department of Planning and Development. Um, you know, there as you see there have been a number of moves. This applicant's dealing with uh issue with their septic system. Um, you know, bef they they they thought it would be a shorter process. It's turned out that their system may need some significant work um in order to be upgraded to satisfy the health department um to support, you know, uh the daycare at at their property. So at this point it as Th we just we we're as as the name says, we're not sure. We need to think an indefinite deferral is appropriate. The applicant understands at such time as they're able to to satisfy the uh health department we would reactivate it and bring it back.
Brent Krasner 6:44

They're res they're responding to our latest set of comments. Um so that we're not ready for today. We're tentatively uh looking at the fourth of February. Um at this point we think we can make it, but we'll we'll see how they resubmit and um as we get closer we'll know. But for now we're targeting February fourth.
