lie or don't omit that you know me in an attempt to seem like you are cool about meeting me because what you're doing there is you're lying about the level at which you know me and it's creepy as fuck.

Do you mean as in like they pretend that you guys have met before or that you're friends but they're just a fan?

Sometimes the tone in which they talk to me, they kind of go, hey.

And for me it's hard because I work in an industry where I have met a million people.

You meet a lot of people casually.

One time.

And also if it's in my area that I live, I think, oh, like have I met you from someone's house party?

Do I know you from the cafe?

So that casual hey is really anxiety inducing for me.

But it's okay because I also understand when people are like,

And then they immediately go, oh, my God, sorry, I'm your fan.

I don't know.

That's fine.

I get it.

But I mean more like I'll tell you what happened.

Okay.
