So are you saying in are you saying direct your your theory here is that direct traffic and engagement without a search is helpful because like inside of Google might be from a search result, but inside of Google might also be from a Chrome a device that's using Chrome?

So this is a presentation that I've been that that's kind of gone a little bit viral, at least in the SEO community, that I did at Oktoberfest and won.

Um, but it's about
how Google is leveraging not just data and behavior from search results, but data uh from Chrome as a whole.
And the theory is about it's kind of about mobile first indexing and a theory about the way Google explained indexing when they launched mobile first indexing in 2017-2018, which I theorize
Well, number one, mobile first indexing wasn't so much about mobile as it was about indexing.
I think um Google had already been crawling as a smartphone bot for a long time when they launched mobile first indexing and it was their primary crawler, although it might not have been their primary crawler for indexing, but they would say like your stuff needs to work on the smartphone bot for it to work and rank.
But what changed with mobile first indexing was Google's ability to render and understand JavaScript and this new theory.
you know, Google kind of explained it as when a rendering resource becomes available, we will you know render your JavaScript and add that information to our existing document in the index, right?
So you get two phases.
The first phase is just HTML and the second phase is JavaScript rendered HTML.
And they just kind of said as a rendering resource becomes available.
And so my thought was
Why were they so vague here?
