There are so many ways that our culture really sells us this idea that a polished version of success is waking up early, staying productive, and smiling through the exhaustion. matched

And yet, so many paved with chronic stress, emotional fatigue, declining mental health. matched

And this is kind of complicated because I just talked about the difference between rest and restoration. matched

Most of the time when we think about rest, we think about cessation activities like sleeping or going on vacation or just getting away. matched
