Oh, my God.
And I loved being in the hospital and seeing him and seeing the patients.
And I loved science so much.
I was actually telling my daughter last night about dissecting earthworms and crayfish in science class and how much I loved it.
And I went to science camp and I volunteered in the department of cardiac surgery when I was in high school and I got to see a heart transplant at the age of like 17.
And so- That's remarkable.
I just was like all in to science and medical.
And so I really, I knew I loved science.
I knew I loved the idea of helping people.
But then I went a little bit off course when I went to college.
I actually majored in economics in part because my father said, you know, medicine's a really tough life.
If you want to have a family, maybe you should think about something else.
And so I did.
I mean, at 17, you'd already seen a heart transplant.
I had.
So you were kind of...
You've been way advanced.
Exactly.
And then when I was at Stanford, I studied economics.
I graduated.
