Yeah, so this is really the root of the problem being like, is it me?

Am I wrong?

Is there something deeply wrong with me?

Or am I actually the only sane person looking around and being like, I have a lot to be angry about and this world is pathological and there's a lot to be mad about.

Obviously the answer is not that binary.

Like I am dealing with an illness and there is a lot to be angry about.

And so I think the way that I've modelled thinking about rage after that

experience is that I don't want to fear rage in myself.

Instead, I want to explore the ways that I can be angry that are productive rather than destructive, so that aren't harmful to me and the people that I love, but instead recognize it as an emotion that represents

where I see injustice in the world or where I see the world letting people down and what I want to change.

So it's given me like, I guess, tools to think more healthily about rage and in less binary ways about it.

Like being angry isn't bad, but it also isn't necessarily always good.

And so just trying to find that compass for myself as well.

Yeah.

So like the way I think about it, this is still so frustrating, you're so right, is that like I am right to be angry right now, I just like can't express it in the way that I want to.

which I find really annoying because it's like, why can't I just express myself the way that I need to in the moment and not be like, feel bad about that.

But I guess for me, it took a lot of like building up my trust in myself to be able to express it.

And also the like expressing it in the right ways to the right people.

Like I now know, and this is the sad reality of living with an illness.
