I'm not going to let it own me.
I'm going to work through it because anxiety is going to be your biggest teacher.
If you keep letting it control you, your body is telling you something.
That anxiety, that emotion in you is telling you, is screaming at you to be like, there's something wrong with your body.
But no, we keep trucking along.
I was that person that got up at half five in the morning, went to the gym, ran around after everybody else, went to work, got a food shop done, went to an event, saw my friends.
I had no time for me except in the gym.
And my nervous system was like this all the time.
But I was like, that's just me.
I'm just go, go, go.
Where the last few years I'm learning to slow, slow, slow.
Where now I'm at a point I'm like, ooh, am I a bit too slow?
But no, I'm learning, I'm re...
Educate myself about my own nervous system and about how I need to regulate myself.
And yesterday I actually went to Caroline's book launch and I'm delighted I did.
I felt that little bit better than this morning.
I actually had yoga booked and I ended up cancelling it.
I was like, I need to lay in bed.
I actually just need to sleep here.
And then I got up.
