I journaled, I had a few deep breaths and I came back to my body and I was like, I feel that little bit better, not all better, but I was able to hone in on myself and control myself this morning instead of getting up, going to the gym, taking off the list, getting the 10,000 steps done, that endless list that you're constantly doing all the time.
But yet you're running yourself into the ground.
So learning to control myself as well and learning how I approach different things.
So first of all, how I've learned to approach dating and relationships.
So when I first started dating as well, and I've said this at my first episode on All of the Above was modern day dating.
If you go back to that, I really divulge in how I navigated single life.
But my approach was towards the end before I met my boyfriend was I started to
let go of expectations and really just focus on myself as you are dating a stranger.
You don't know them.
They're coming into your life and you need you need to figure out are they adding value to your life, whether you're a man or a woman as well.
You're like, they're just a stranger.
I'm getting to know them, you know, leave, let them show you because actions speak louder than words, because, you know, when you're online and you're talking to someone,
And they're giving you the be all and end all want to show you the world unless they actually prove it in actions.
It means jack shit.
And so I really start to go off what people's actions were.
And I would have started to cling to people's words being like, oh, my God, they said that they said they like me.
And like fantasizing, romanticizing about what how how things could be instead of what they are.
I started focusing on what things are.
what it is right away, how are they showing up.
But the main thing is how I showed up for myself.
